Dr. Moccia Thomas, DO

Apparently but unbeknown to me, Dr. Mocchia had been asked to consult on my case and take a look at my heart while I was under observation at Inspira for a prolonged dental infection. So he arrived unannounced early one morning and got right to work. Such a kind, thoughtful gentleman! In my many years on this earth and more than a few hospitalizations, I have never before seen a doctor leave a hospital room to fetch a glass of water, a pain medication, and a warm blanket himself for a bedridden patient. Usually they ignore such basic human comforts or leave them to overworked subordinates so they can focus their valuable time on more profitable stuff, like surgery and chemotherapy. But thank God for Dr. Tom Moccia who took the considerable amount of time and trouble to get me warm, hydrated, and comfortable before proceeding with his brief but efficient exam. Bravo and hooray! By the time he left, I felt much better!

This amazing physician is a care taker. He is knowledgeable, personable, and a pleasure to know. His intuition is on point. I consider myself a lucky patient of his.
