The best!
Kind, warm, very knowledgeable and works with me to find the best medication mix for my three mental health issues. Listens to me. About his assistant, just be patient and very upbeat and grateful and he is a pussycat. Moreover, Dr. Roeff is well worth his brusque assistant.

Helpful, Knowledgeable, Thorough
I have been a patient of Dr Roefe's for over 10 years and I feel I have always received excellent care. He has seen me through several medication changes and my life is better for it. He is straightforward and honest, sometimes telling me things I don't want to hear - but he always does so with empathy, and at times even a little humor. I have always had good experiences with Dale. He is patient and dealing with my insurance company. It is my observation that he wears many hats as Receptionist, Billing Department and Office Manager, and he does all these well. For all of the above reasons I will keep coming back.

Dr's assistant Dale is impossible to work with. He is condescending, speaks down to you and could not be less helpful. I would avoid this Dr. simply due to how unhelpful Dale is

I love Dr Roeffe. He is so helpful and nice. What I don’t like is his staff. I got laid off and was limited on medication. I would have to make an appointment to see him and have new insurance. So it would have been out of pocket. Instead of ordering an emergency medication refill for 2 weeks before an appointment w my new psychiatrist the office staff (Dale) denied it. So that’s the only bad part.

I am not sure where the bad feelings for Dale is coming from. Both are no-nonsense but extremely professional. They are efficient and prompt which might be where the feelings are? The Doctor is really warm and creates a safe environment for treatment. Dale is well-organized and kind.

I was experiencing extreme anxiety and depression when I got in to see Dr. Roefe. I had been having an extremely hard time getting in to see a Psychiatrist. Dr. Roefe's help and medication changes truly changed my life. I would recommend him to anyone.

Both Dale and Roefe are extremely rude... Dale at the front desk is extremely rude and unprofessional as is the doc. dale is very demeaning. I would never recommend anyone going to this office. The office took my coinsurance and then got paid the full amount paid from my insurance company and never reimbursed me the coinsurance I paid . It’s a very unprofessional practice!

Dale was who I spoke to. while booking asked if I was disabled (maybe this is a normal ? ) but then said they don’t accept patients with disabilities and asked the nature of my disability because the doctor would want to know before seeing me) I then said I had lung issues among many other physical disabilities.. But once he said they’d “make an exception to see me regardless of my disability” I asked to cancel and dale said rudely “we are okay with that, we are uncomfortable with someone like u

Shocked! After over a year as a patient (6 appointments) Dr. Roefe's admin, Dale, berated me for a 60 day past due billing of $90. I only learned of this when I called for a 90 day med check. After paying, Dale scolded me and stated I was no longer welcomed as a patient (but would see me one last time For $) and "they"do not have time to see someone like me. SHAME on Dale for mistreating patients and shame on Dr. Roefe for allowing Dale to be nasty and hurtful to patients over $90. DISGUSTING

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Again as in past reviews Dale the front desk person is totally obnoxious and hangs up on me. He also vents his ultra liberal views in front of patients and commands patients to sit like a dog. This man is very insulting and should have been fired long ago. The Dr only saw me for 15 minutes per visit and only gave me a prescription. There was no re-essement and in my view is not the way to properly take care of patients. I am no longer going to this office.

Dr Roefe probably deserves a 3 star but due to his very unpleasant secretary Dale I had to drop it down a star. Dale is not only rude and miserable to deal with, his style of billing is awful!
