A patient's doctor
Few doctors are as expert in their field as Dr. Faddis. If there is research that supports a particular approach to a problem of one of his patients, he knows about it. Although that puts him high on the list of good doctors, there must be other doctors with similar expertise. What perhaps makes Dr. Faddis unique is that he realizes that there is a lot in medicine that no one knows and that medicine has few “one size fits all” solutions. He listens to his patient’s experiences about their symptoms and responses to what they've done and values them even if they don’t fit neatly into current medical dogma. In particular, he listens to his patients' priorities and lifestyles and modifies treatments to fit them. He is not an all-knowing, all-wise god, he is a partner. If he sounds like your dream doctor, I won’t argue.

He made me think that he hand picked the patients who had the only best chance of increasing his success ratings and was not interested in helping the general public. I traveled 1200 miles to see a specialist at Barnes at my Primary Care's reccomendation Because my body mass index made him uncomfortable he chose to dismiss me with a slight change in medication when 5 other Cardiologists & EP said I need pacemaker & ablation. He cringed at the thought of touching me to examine a blood clot. RUN!!

This was my first visit to Dr Faddis's office. The receptionist was not the most welcoming but I found the nurses to be professional and friendly. Dr Faddis was very professional and I was impressed with his communication of information about my condition. I felt comfortable with the conversation and he was friendly. I trusted him. I'd recommend him as a cardiologist.
