Almost Painless Biopsy
I felt very confident with Dr. Han and his staff at Johns Hopkins. The biopsy was mainly painless (not what people had told me) and I had almost no problems after getting home. I was in and out of the hospital in 90 minutes. His staff was very supportive and very efficient

Unbelievable result
I was diagnosed with a Prostatic Adenocarcinoma. Gleason 9. My doctor in Annapolis told me there was only one doctor to do the procedure I needed. He said whether you're the president, a rockstar, or a professional athlete this is who you see. God has blessed him with a unique set of skills that allows him to perform minimally invasive radical prostatectomy with 100% nerve preservation. Can't put into words the love, gratitude, and appreciation I have for Dr. Han and his team. It's wonderful we have people like him and the Johns Hopkins staff that make a huge difference every day. From the moment my wife and I walked in on the day of surgery until the moment we were taken to the car everything was first right. Johns Hopkins the premier hospital in the world. I had full sexual function the day they removed the catheter. Someone, I thought that would take months happened the same day.

If I could give less than Zero, I would. This is a warning for anyone who wishes to die of prostate with this maniac of a quack surgeon. He rushed through surgery, didn't close up well, leading to years of multiple hernia with his robotic penance of a technique. He may be talented, but the side effects and consequences of his bad bedside manners and condescending attitude leave a sour taste. Still, Hopkins stands by this horrible and terrible excuse of a doctor. I give him a 1 star because i can't rate him any less. We should be allowed to rate him a Zero

Dr Misop Han was extremely thorough, courteous and informative. I visited two other local urologist, both negative experiences, before seeing Dr Han. He reviewed my medical records and tests and presented a concise and informative report, information not given by the previous urologists. I am pleased with the outcome of my surgery and would absolutely recommend him to family and friends. His staff were helpful, courteous and supportive. Follow up care was great.

Excellent physician, excellent surgeon ! I started with a local urologist, learned from experience ( several very bad ) the difference between average and excellent. This is an easy referral, and I don’t normally refer, ever ! Dr Han’s staff , after hearing my experiences with other Urologist’s said to me “ your going to like him, he’s the best, patients are so pleased after finding him “

Superb surgeon. His technical skills are amazing. I felt no pain with the prostate biopsy and following my radical prostatectomy. He explained things clearly and was incredibly proactive when test results became available. Dr. Han would call me immediately and explain the results.

My experience with Dr, Han overall was great. Had an extremely long wait for my biopsy which was caused by the COVID-19 but still an excessive amount of time passed to have the biopsy performed. Another issue was after the surgery he did not stop by the hospital room to discuss how the surgery went. Also, the results from the lab analysis of the removed prostrate was relayed to me via a nurse and not him

I wanted the best to treat my prostate cancer, so Johns Hopkins was going to be that place. I researched their surgeons and chose Dr Han. Dr Han performed a biopsy and reviewed my options, I chose robotic removal and had Dr Han perform the procedure. My outcome was fantastic from the post op pathology to the minimal incontinence and no ED issues. Dr Han is extremely talented and everyone at Hopkins is the best of the best. If you have prostate or bladder cancer go to Hopkins and I highly recommend Dr Han.

My journey began in November 2018. I'm a 62 year old male with a family history of prostate cancer. A routine physical showed an elevated PSA of 3.4. Though within normal range, my PCP agreed to a second opinion. I selected Dr Han at John's Hopkins after researching several surgeons and hospitals. I met with Dr Han in Feb 2019 which put me at ease & I knew I was in the right place. I was scheduled for a fusion biopsy in May & was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Surgery was scheduled for July and it went better than I could have ever imagined. Dr Han and the entire nursing staff at John's Hopkins are incredible. I was up & walking the floor within 12 hours of surgery. The pain I experienced was no worse than I would have experienced after a hard abdominal workout. I'm currently 3 months post surgery with a PSA of zero and everything else appears on the way to recovery. Dr Han and his assistant Amy have always responded promptly to any questions. Thank you Dr Han for all you did for me!

The experience with Dr Han and Johns Hopkins Medicine couldn’t have been better. At my first appointment, I was greeted by staff who helped me navigate the patient portal, led me to the proper examination area and prepared me for my examination. Dr Han and his staff were extremely attentive and helpful. All my questions were answered clearly and consicely, and my options were spelled out in detail. The day of my procedure was seamless. Dr Han and staff exceeded all my expectations.

Dr. Han and his staff are AMAZING. They are all very knowledgeable, professional, most importantly very caring. He was very thorough when discussing surgery options for prostate cancer. He was so easy to talk to and he genuinely cares. My Radical Prostatectomy went extremely well. Dr. Han thoroughly went over the procedure on the day of my surgery and did the same postoperative. His follow up is amazing. He and his staff made my surgery, insurance, and financial responsibility smooth.

Dr Han performed surgery on my husband on May 14, 2018. His office consultation was spot on. His bedside manner is great especially when you're feeling scared and vulnerable. He provided the pathology results within a week as promised and provided sound follow on instructions. He will always have a special place in our heart! ??

I was referred to Dr. Han by Dr. Kissel in anticipation of a partial nephrectomy - Dr. Han and his team were terrific! Words don’t do justice to how great they all are. They were always patient answering questions and clear in describing information I should know. It’s early in my recovery but all seems to have turned out as well as possible. The team projects confidence, compassion and knowledge.

Dr Han performed a robotic assisted radical prostatectomy on me. I ran into some complications that kept me in the hospital for 3 nights and resulted in me going home with the surgical drain still in place. Even though Dr Han was on vacation the following week, he continued to monitor me through daily emails and phone calls and then came to the hospital on his day off to meet me after an important test (that showed the problem was resolved). He's a very caring and skilled surgeon.

"Your psa is only 7, just get some radiation." My mother's remark & my father's death from radiation treatments convinced me to call the John Hopkins urology dept. I had to pick from a list of doctors on my own. I made the right decision when I picked Dr. Han. His staff is great! From my first appointment I could tell he was someone special. He is a humble doctor that made me feel comfortable the with the robotic surgery. He saved my life & I am cancer free after my one time surgery.
