Disappointed
I wanted the Doctor's authorization on a lab test for the symptoms I was presenting and deserved immediate action. I wasn't able to speak with her, she was not in that early. The secretary mentioned that the Doctor was no longer authorizing the test that I required. The secretary advised me to go the emergency room, which I did and the decision to do so was best outcome. The office has yet to call me to see how I continue doing. I don't know if the Doctor was informed by her secretary about my symptoms. What ever the case may be, I think there should be more show of compassion and concern towards patients that entrust their health and lives to a Doctor.
