Office Incompetence
My husband has pulmonary fibrosis and has been without his newly prescribed medication for 3 weeks due to office staff incompetence and lack of follow-up getting required information to insurance and pharmacy. Office blames insurance but all notes were read to me and clearly describe a lack of follow through on the part of the MD office staff. Multiple calls were made to MD office staff over 3 weeks with promised follow ups that were never made. Pulmonary fibrosis is a progressive disease and 3 weeks with no treatment is a significant breach of duty on the part of the physician in my opinion.

I'd give more stars if I could!
My appointment with Doctor Alikhan was this morning. He was relaxed, interested, listened well to all our questions, thorough, asked questions. He set the standard for excellence in a doctor's appointment. We give him our highest recommendation!

The saying the buck stops here. I've been told by some of his staff the reason they don't answer phones after numerous times is that they are understaffed. The messages I leave Dr. Alikhan are not relayed correctly or ignored. Ex. I asked for home hospice because I can barely breathe and BP goes up with minimal walks. They sent me a physical therapist. My oxygen level is around 15% so how is a therapist going to help me. They have no follow up calls to see how I'm doing as the Methodist Hospital Sugarland did when they admitted me after a prescribed medication sent my BP to 160. I wound up in ER have a dozen doctors to had to stop my heart twice. Where does the buck stop ?
