Dr. Ming Zhang was very cordial, answered all my questions in a clear and under stable manner. Showed is concern for my health issues and was friendly and warm to both me, and the family members that were present. I cam away from the visit feeling highly reaured that he was the right doctor for me, and I felt confident that the procedure would go well.

High Risk Valve Replacement
My husband was treated at St Joseph’s, Tacoma, last September (2023) for his heart. Dr. Reiter was scheduled to do his aorta valve replacement and ended up refusing at the last minute saying it was too risky. He changed his mind a few days later only to cancel once again! He offered no alternative solutions and he didn't even have the courtesy to tell us in person, he sent another doctor to do that. This other cardiologist suggested we transfer him to Virginia Mason. He evidently spoke with Dr. Ming on our behalf. Dr. Ming actually came to St. Joe's to meet us. We were very impressed. He said, yes, it is very risky, but he felt he could successfully do the surgery. We had my husband transferred to Virginia Mason in Seattle and within a couple of days he replaced the valve. It was a success and Dr. Ming said that my husband now had a 'happy heart'! Thank you Dr. Ming!
