Told him I was in pain. He said there's nothing he could do. Told me to take OTC pills for the pain. Won't go back!

Takes time to explain and to answer any questions I have

Dr Chen is always on time, very thorough, explains everything I have questions about and always willing to hear my concerns. His professionalism and the results I am getting with managing my illness, have been phenomenal!

I have RA so I see Dr Chen about every 6 months, he explains everything in every day language so everything is easy to understand! the only bad thing is he needs to stop taking patients as it takes forever ( for me 9 months) to get an initial appointment!

Dr Chen is a great doctor take his time during the consultation. He goes in detail about everything and make it easy for you to understand. I will recommend him to any one that has osteoarthritis.

This doctor told me I was lying about my rheumatoid even after I was with a previous Dr for 20 years for the same conditions. He wrote 2 Dr notes for different reasons. One even said to my employer I'm writing the note because the patient asked me to and nothing is wrong with her. She just doesn't want to work. My files stated we spoke about issues that we never discussed at my appointment. He has no sympathy for patients. I showed up with knots all over me to be told nothing is wrong and you don't have rheumatoid. He flat out asked, ``So what do you expect me to do. I do NOT recommend him. If you do then check charts and codes that were billed with the insurance company.

Dr Chen is very knowledgeable about arthritis. He's easy to talk to and always on time. He doesn't rush into harsh treatment . He has me try the simplest treatment first. If that doesn't work he moves to the next level. I truly appreciate that.

Terrible. If you are not a perfect weight, he’ll spend the entire appt harping on needing to lose weight. And offer no guidance on how to do that. I was barely eating 1000 calories a day after giving birth, and he just assumed I ate to much and to eat less. When I told him how little I was eating, he ignored me and moved on. I’ve seen him for nearly three years now, and with little to no relief from the horrible pain I’m in. He won’t order more testing, or anything if use. But he’s the only dr my insurance covers, so I’m stuck with him.

Dr Chen is a fine doctor. My only complaint is my appointment was for 1:15 and I didn’t get to see him until almost 2:00. Too much waiting room time.
