Dr. Stelman is 5 stars. The practice gets one star
I have a worsening lung infection for 6 days, and for me this is dangerous. I tried to make an online appointment last night, indicating it as a “sick” appt. I was given an appointment in late December. Late December for an acute infection? We have a third world health care system because the entire third world is here using ours. And the practice says it is accepting new patients? How about taking care of existing ones first?

Refused to speak with patient suffering from an in
Been struggling with chronic utis for months. Today received yet another lab result showing infection persists. Called specialist. Was told she is on vacation and to try and call my primary, who used to be Milla Stelman. I called, some staff answered, I explained the situation, which is I needed a prescription called in They are all part of the same yale group and thus my lab result was available to them. She told her staff to inform me she wouldn't talk to me bc i was under a specialist care. What?!? Never in my life, I've heard of a primary refuse to speak to their patients because they're under a specialist's care, let alone during a vacation of said specialist while the patient has a painful infection going on. When i expressed my frustration her answer was as stuck up and uninterested and suggested that another office might better meet my needs as a patient.

Dr Stelman has been our family doctor for a good few years now. We love her. Very attentive, when I go for my kids, she always inquires about my own health. Waits are non-existent, scheduling are easy, nurses and staff are equally attentive, courteous, everyone is just really nice.
