DO NOT RECOMMEND
Highly unprofessional. She does nothing but refer you to other specialists. Is never in the office and if you're expecting a call back about your results... good luck.

This doctor does not abide by AMA Code of Ethics
My family recently advocated for my mother to get a 2nd opinion from another doctor before she gets an additional corticosteroid shot in her arm for pain management to ensure this was the best course of action. Oh, but not Dr. Hernandez. She believes she is the utmost expert in the field. When my mother communicated this request nonchalantly, the doctor grew immediately furious and told her “Go ahead and get a second opinion and then stay with that other doctor!” She repeated this angrily four times to my humble and meek mother. My mother was dumbfounded. A front office staff member asked my mother, “What happened? The doctor says she doesn’t want you as a patient anymore.” When my mother explained she had simply asked for a referral for a second opinion, the front office staff member stated, “Don’t worry, the doctor just gets upset like that sometimes. By the time you come in for your next appointment, she will have forgotten all about it.” Just Google her, terrible bedside manner.

I would love to actually rate my experience with Dr. Hernandez, but unfortunately I never made it out of the waiting room before I had to leave to get back to work. It wasn't until I had been waiting for an hour that the office staff informed me that they take walk-in patients before scheduled patients. I left extremely upset given that I'm immunocompromised and was stuck in a non-socially distanced waiting room with office staff that was not even wearing their masks properly during a pandemic! Save yourself some stress and wasted time and find a different doctor.

She made me feel I'm not an important patient, she rushed me to just answer questions, not to make any comment, not telling what I feel, my pain, my concerns, etc, nothing was important to her even though I tried to tell everything clearly and quickly. I felt ignored all the time, the visit was constantly interrupted by phone calls, receptionist papers, assistant's paperwork to fill, etc. (about 10 interruptions) I never felt so bad with a doctor in my entire life
