spouse was diagnosed with carcinosarcoma which is a very aggressive form of Endo cancer. Treated her for three and a half months and on the third in person visit said the platinum based chemo wasn't working and the tumors were spreading. I was able to research and find information on the NIH website that said the efficacy of platinum based chemo was very low. so instead of researching or recommending a MMMT specialist we were told to find a clinical trial or second opinion. We felt that we were being dropped like a hot potato with no recourse. Needless to say my spouse passed 7 months later from metastasis. To date no one from his office has called or even inquired about her status. I do have to say his chemo infusion nurses were fantastic. If your Endo cancer is typical he can probably help you, if you have MMMT or need research to find a solution, look elsewhere.

I need an uncomplicated surgery and his office gave me the cold shoulder and cut ties with me abruptly. The logical conclusion I came to is that this doctor is money driven and if there is no money is to be made on you he cuts you loose. I was surprised because his demeanor is so friendly but it's a false front. He also does unnecessary exams so he can bill this as well.

Dr. Mike Janicek’s has an absolutely amazing way of getting to the bottom of your total health! He is very well respected in the medical field. He found several critical things other drs. Have missed in the past five years! He really listens to you and finds the answers! He’s very personable which is comforting in stressful situations. I was completely confident going into my surgery yesterday! His entire staff in the office is professional and courteous. My entire experience with my surgery was excellent.

Dr Janicek and his highly qualified team of professionals are THE exception to the rule in todays level of care. Very impressive from start to finish. I would HIGHLY recommend his services to anyone looking for competent, compassionate care.

Dr. Janicek recently preformed a surgery on my wife. I was contacted three times before, during and after the procedure by his staff and immediately after by Dr. Janicek. Very impressed with the care they took with my wife and the effort they took to keep me informed as the day progressed. In addition to this my wife ended up in emergency care a few weeks after the surgery (not related) and Dr. Janicek checked in on her while she was in the hospital. I have been going to Dr Janicek for about 6 years now. He is an absolutely amazing doctor/surgeon who cares deeply for his patients. His staff is just as amazing and you will get the best care ever at this office. Patients come from across the US to see Dr Janicek for his expertise. I have ovarian cancer and he has kept me going for 6 years so far. Appt times are sometimes delayed but for very good reason. I always feel like, if my appt is delayed, they are assisting someone else that needs them more at that moment.

There are no words to express how grateful I am to have crossed paths with Dr. Janiceck. He is very knowledgeable and experienced; a top notch surgeon. He knew that my cancer wasn’t primary ovarian. He recognized a different condition and facilitated a team approach to deal with a rare cancer. He was part of the team that performed the “mother of all surgeries” on me. He saved me from having 2 separate surgeries and recoveries. He even applied for privileges at another hospital to perform surgery there, so it would be covered by my insurance. His staff was amazing and provided much needed support to get me through a very stressful and scary time between diagnosis and scalpel. I cannot say enough thank you’d to Dr. Janicek and his team.

Just words seem inadequate to express my gratitude for both my husband and myself for the attention and individual care we received. Dr. Janicek is tremendous! I trust his knowledge and genuine care of his patients 1,000%! I feel he has nothing but my absolute best interest at heart. I have always had the very best care and experience with everyone at that office. I just love the chemotherapy nurses! After a difficult time with several doctors, it was wonderful to work with Dr. Janicek and his staff. His admin staff were responsive and helpful in filling out paperwork and schedule. My husband and I were very impressed with Dr. Janicek. He had clearly reviewed my test results, MRI, etc before my appointment. He listened, explained well and was extremely caring.

Dr. Janicek is extraordinary ! Not only is he a Harvard educated genetic oncologist, he is remarkably skilled. He and his tenured staff are welcoming, thorough and patient with all questions great and small. It is a privilege to be his patient.
