MY wife and I have been patients of Dr Miguel Rodriguez for the past 7 years and we find him to be extremely professional and someone who listens to you, giving you the time you need as well as someone who thoroughly investigates what ails the patient until he gets the right answer. Waiting time is a little long at times, but Dr. M Rodriguez is well worth the wait.

. Rodrigues is a good Doctor, his employees mostly, Rosa and Ana, are brazen, they are destroying the reputation of the Dr, without him noticing the atrocities they do with patient collections, they do not want to return what is already paid by the insurance and as much as the patients call them for the money back they make your excuses and life impossible not to return it to you. I called that, scammers, they don't want you to talk to the doctor for a complaint. I'm very sorry for the Dr. Destroying what with so much effort and dedication learn for years.

The employees charge you in advance for the service the Dr. will give you, that money in most are paid by the insurance, they do not paid back, them unless the patient notices that the insurance paid for everything and call Dr. office for the return of the money and with many calls and negotiations the patients get it back, they never return their money back, the employees are thieves.

My pharmacy and I have called his office several times to get refills of meds with prior authorization. My pharmacy can't get a hold of him, messages left with no return call. I have left messages, no return call. I actually reached a real person, twice, in one day, disconnected, twice, before I could explain my call. I had a colonoscopy by him, his anesthesiologist rapidly pushed diprovan into my saline lock, maybe over 10 secs, when it should be pushed over 3-5 mins because it HURTS. He told me I had nothing wrong, come back in 5 yrs. I went to another GI doc who confirmed, what I already knew, I need to have colon resection and I have a severe prolapsed rectum. They run you through like cattle on a conveyor belt.

No way ,, after waiting 2 mths i showed up to my 3:45pm appt to find 13 pts in front of me and 3 patients that were scheduled at my same time slot,, no compassion for pts from the staff, quickly told me i had approximetely 2 hrs at least to wait. I left I refused to be treated like my time is not important from a dr that has only one agenda ,, collect from my insurance..

Dr. Miguel Rodriguez changed my wife appointment 3 times in one week. After finally arriving to Baptist Hospital in Homestead FL. We were told that the 9 am app, was moved to 10:30 am. Considering that she was nervous and fastening for 24 hs we found that hour and a half extra was very inconvenient. It seems this is a common pattern with this doctor according to other patients experiences

This is the worst doctor EVER. He let my grandmother fall during a colonoscopy while she was already on the table with anesthesia and then claimed she "turned and fell. Where was the nurse? She had to be rushed to the hospital and received 5 stitches on her head. I have never come across such horrible staff/doctor. DO NOT GO HERE, THEY ENDANGER LIVES. If I could give him negative stars I would.

Refused to see me after I already have my Humana Medicaid authorization to be seen by the Dr rodriguez. Their excuse was that they had a note that i can't get any appointments to go see him anymore when I asked why she said because I missed appointments which is not true I used up my 3 visits that i had authorized back them i even did an endoscopy which had come back fine. (I GOT PREGNANT) at the time didn't have time to go back. Lied about not taking Humana Medicaid. Rude liars, unprofessiona

Smart and capable doctor. However every time I've had to see him, my appointment was either rescheduled last minute or I've had to wait for hours at the office. His rude staff is obviously used to telling people to wait and they have no sympathy. When I finally see him he always gives a sigh like "time to deal with yet another patient" and tries to rush through it. Even during an endoscopy he was quite rude and short with me. He overbooks himself and ends up giving good service to no one.

The worst experience with a doctor/doctor ofc I have ever had. First appointment made with office manager was scheduled for a time the office was closed. Ofc staff taking intake information didn't speak English and entered a lot of incorrect info (wrote that I smoke! I am a lifelong non-smoker); 4 months later I still haven't been able to get the ofc to correct this info. Ofc staff scream your name from examining rooms instead of coming to waiting room to call you. Offices dirty. Etc., etc.

Honest truth is that I have no clue what is going on within this office. There is always excuses why things are getting done. Don't expect any communication or follow up care. I am recommending to my insurance agency to not send fellow military members to this location.
