Best handDoctor Hands down!
All these negative reviews did not see the doctor Cruz I saw! I fractured/ dislocated one of the hardest areas to heal, my scaphoid bone. I have no pins or screws and no nerve damage which usually follows! In only three weeks time, I almost have full range of motion and starting physical therapy. He is very patient, walked me through the process and answered every question I had. I have a feeling some of the negativity has nothing to do with skill. Dont be so closed minded! Dr. Cruz can help you.

Distal Radial Fracture
Please don’t look at these negative reviews! I did, and I’m mad that I listened to the negative ones. I ended up meeting him and literally can’t talk enough about how great this guy is. Back story, I am a dental student and fractured my dominant wrist! This was a problem, and Dr. Cruz got me into surgery as fast as he could. Ended up only missing 2 months of school! And my hand skills are at the same level as they were before the break. He listened to my concerns and addressed them accordingly. Seriously, before you listen to negative reviews, please just go meet him first. I truly feel like people only write reviews when they are upset about something and rarely when they have had a positive experience. Even you are someone that needs your wrist or hand for your job, please go see him! This is coming from a dental student that has FULL MOTION of my wrist! This man has positively impacted my life!

Negligence in practice
I would caution anyone seeking care at this medical practice or with Dr. Cruz to be extremely diligent. My first visit Dr Cruz used a medical scrub on my skin that I am very allergic to and which was noted in my new patient documentation. My Visit Summary document has so many errors on it the worst of which is adding a medication I am NOT allergic to and removing a medication that is life threatening if given. My overall list of medications what completely inaccurate with medications listed I don't take, dosages and frequency wrong and finally medications I take not even listed.

This doctor is rude and uncaring. He operated on my grandson’s arm after he broke his right humerus in half. The 2 parts of the bone are unaligned and the plate is not stable. The bones don’t even touch, so everything is moving and pivoting. He is having it repaired by a REAL orthopedic surgeon today?? Do not let this guy touch you!

Dr Cruz performed a reverse shoulder replacement for me and used a post op pain relief pump so I had almost no post op pain and took very few narcotics. I’m Still in PT at six weeks and having a great recovery. I’m very happy with the care and results so far. The results speak for themselves, he is an excellent surgeon and cares about his craft and patients. I would definitely recommend him.

Had an appt @ 1 pm; arrived 10 mins early, signed in and waited & waited & waited, Checked w/desk staff 2x & was told "soon". 3rd inquiry, they told me he left at 1 ! I waited over 2 hrs to be told he left @ 1 ! Rude, unprofessional, selfish, inconsiderate. Would he have left me alone in the operating room?! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME.

Dr. Cruz does not return phone calls, does not respond to repeated calls from pharmacy to correct prescription errors, or If you have reaction to the medication he prescribes. Be prepared to be on your own after you leave his office.

I went in at 9 am on 04/28/2016 as per my appointment. I was there 3 hours. Cruz came in for five minutes, did a quick exam and told me he will be back in a few minutes after reviewing the X Rays that I did not take in his office. He never came back to discuss with me what the problem is with my hands or any type of consultation. after 3 hours his nurse came in and could not answer any questions and stated that Cruz left. I guess his lunch is more important that his patient. Terrible DR.
