Dr. Miguel Giron, MD

I have never met a doctor that has had better follow up. He called several times to discuss test results and hear how my daughter was doing. He was extremely thorough when he saw my daughter in the Urgent care. It was a long visit due to all of the tests but if you are at an urgent care you want to walk out knowing your issue was fully addressed. I hope we have Dr Giron again if we have to go to an urgent care.

I’ve seen Dr Giron a couple times over the years he’s been affiliated with Summit Health’s Urgent Care facility. Both times, I found him extremely patient, compassionate and engaged. He helped me, and it was clear he wanted to help, not just rush to the next patient.That’s an impressive quality working in an Urgent Care setting.I also perceived him as very knowledgeable regarding entirely different medical concerns.He’s a credit to the group, and to this Urgent Care.

Had a Teledoc visit with Dr. Giron. He was both very polite and concerned about my concerns and addressed them professionally and in a timely matter. I would suggest him and Teledoc to my friends and loved ones.

Very nice. Actually felt better after seeing me even though there was not much he could do for a virus. Ruled out any other concerns.

I had a telemedicine call with him for a routine sore throat. I explained that it felt like a familiar post nasal drip & that I didn’t feel comfortable going to get tested during the height of Covid. He denied medicine & suggested I go sit at an urgent care even after I expressed multiple times i didn’t feel comfortable doing so. It was a waste of a call. Do not see/speak with him if you want a fast, convenient solution during the height of a pandemic! He is terrible. He could’ve easily called in a Z-pac or antibiotic- that’s the purpose of a tele-health visit! Will be speaking with his hire ups. He had terrible ratings.

Saw at SMG Urgent Care Westfield. Awful. He never listened to my lungs after a breathing treatment. Never rechecked before I left. Left me sitting there for hours. I had to ask all the questions to find out about my chest X-ray, had to ask what meds they gave me.

My son was experiencing dizziness for a couple of days and then had a heavy nose bleed in the middle of school. Being his Pediatrician was out sick with no backup, I took him to the Urgent Care in Florham Park and Dr. Giron was very patient with him, listened intently and communicated with both of us with sincere concern. Dr. Giron talked about sports with my son and made him feel at ease. He offered to see him in his office if he didn't feel better in two days after antibiotics as well!

Down to earth, caring Doctor. So many times you go in and out and are just a number. Dr.Giron made me feel human when he conversed about what was going on with my illness. I really appreciate the time he took and his bedside manner.
