Dr. Miguel Cossio, MD

Dr. Cossio saved my 31 year old sister from renal failure when everyone wanted to give up on her. She had been to another doctor in town that over looked her blood-work after going to the emergency room and having a followup with him. She went to Dr. Cossio for a second opinion. That is when she figured out she has serious renal failure. He took his time with her and really cared. I can't express how grateful I am for him. He is the BEST in Madison GA and he cares about your overall health and your future health. Thank you Dr. Cossio!!!!

This was honestly the worst doctor experience of my life... I walked in and was asked trout some paper work. Then I went to return the paperwork and I'm standing at the front desk for a good minute before the receptionist looked up from scrolling through Instagram to take it. Then I go to the back and get my blood pressure taken and the two nurses with me can't seem to figure out my blood pressure after multiple times trying. They finally take me into the exam room to try again. Still nothing. Doctor Cossio comes in and tries himself a good few times until finally deciding to do it digitally then he and someone start talking and trying to decide exactly how to put the cuff on my arm. At this point my arms have both been squeezed at least 5 times each. I literally have a bruise on my arm from the whole ordeal. However, all the nurses and Doctor Cossio were very kind to me but that only goes so far.

My experience with Dr Cossio was the best that I’ve ever had in my 41 years of life. He cares so much about the patients he has. It’s always easy to make same day appointments. His staff (nurses, front office clerk etc..)are the most friendliest people I’ve met!! And the best thing is once he walks into my room he gets right to the point! He tells me that my brain controls my health and for me to think positively. And I have to tell you that it works!! And he also tells me “A BODY IN MOTION STAYS IN MOTION”. He’s very blunt and down to the point. He’s funny!! Friendly, caring. He listens and has an input to everything I say. And it’s always true. He will not beat around the with anyone. And I believe that’s what makes him the best physician I have ever had in my life. Bc he’s NOT afraid to put me in my place. Especially about my smoking habit. I love this doctors office and will recommend Dr M Cossio to anyone who wants their doctor to be ?? with them!! Thanks Dr M Cossio
