DR Mignon had previously suggested we had a particular lab draw done to reveal the level of medication in my wife's system to ensure she was getting an adequate dosage. My wife had been on this medication for nearly 7 years and no doctor has ever requested this Blood test. As a result my wife was actually lower on medication than needed to be and so it was a real game changer for us to have this new test and additional medication. My wife is doing so much better after the change the Dr Mignon made regarding her meds.

I was very impressed by Dr. Makos. I learned things during that visit that had never before been explained. I learned more about the side effects and the intended effects of the drugs [...] is taking for seizure control. Heck, I am still floored by my ignorance. Dr. Makos treated me as a team member in my son's care! TOTALLY IMPRESSED and grateful! THANK YOU!

Only leaving 1 star because I have too. This was the worst experience I have ever had with a doctor. She is arrogant, snooty and assuming. She interrupted countless times while I was talking. i actually grabbed my purse and walked out mid-appointment. I will no longer allow a Doctor to degrade or make me feel less than me.

She seemed caring at first. We got the results of MRI via My Chart. Have been waiting for MORE THAN a week from someone from the office to explain this medical jargon to us. This is not the way patients should be treated.

Excellent doctor. Extremely caring & considerate. Very thorough in both my son's migraine care and in care I myself received. Friendly, kind bedside manner. Treated us as if we were intelligent unlike some doctors! Time was well spent in all aspects of our care. Would recommend highly.

Probably one of the most straightforward doctors I dealt with during my mother's illness. She and her assistant made things happen and she was most concerned with my mother's comfort level as she neared the end of her life. She puts the patient first.

Extremely arrogant, very much worried about “what insurance will cover” instead of treating the patient fully. Does not like to be questioned, does not listen to the patients or patients families concerns. Pretends to have really good bedside manner, but when it comes down to treatment she does what she wants and what she thinks only. Horrible experience with her. Really enjoyed being talked to like I was stupid and didn’t know anything.

Dr Makos does not listen to her patients . She kept pushing shots injections on me when I really want therapy. I told her I did not want to mask the symptoms, but instead cure it. She just walk out of the room to get Dawn ,her NP. Dawn does listen and open mind. Ask for Dawn instead of Mako's.

Very rude insulting because I smoke Rushed exam then gave information regarding what she will do for chronic migraines but refused to write the prescriptions until a financial aide form is filled out. So until then no treatment or aide in relieving migraines. I will never see this doctor again and recommend my family n friends not to either
