Dr. Michelle Palmer, MD

I visited Dr. Palmer on Friday, November 15, 2019. She was very dismissive and dare I say racist at times. I have a cracked heel that for me is very painful and when I went in she made me feel like I was being a baby and trying to get out of work. I work in a warehouse and am rarely if ever absent and I resented that she acted as if I was trying to collect disability when all I wanted was treatment. She kept reiterating that there was no cure except that I could move to a warmer area like and island or something. I am not sure why she had to keep mentioning the island thing unless she felt like I didn't belong here. Additionally, she underplayed my pain level and it is my opinion that if I were a woman she would not have treated me that way, where is the gender equality now?

Dr. Palmer seems great when she speaks to you, but her actual care is nonexistent. She doesn't examine you, she just types on the computer for the entire appointment. Once you leave the office, don't expect followup care. She ordered a $4,000 very uncomfortable test and her office lost my results 3 times! It's been over a month and still nothing! I'm currently searching for a new doctor. What a waste of time, energy, and money. Not to mention that I still have no relief from my disorder.
