Dr. Michelle Klyn, MD

Dr. Klyn was so easy to work with as she cared for me for all my kids. She navigated my health issue that effected pregnancy and made sure baby was always in a healthy spot. She made procedures that were needed light and lifted the stress or anxiety you might be feeling before she begins. So happy to have had her as my Dr.

I would highly highly Dr. Klyn. She went above and beyond as my obgyn! She sincerely cared and even personally called one of my nurses while I was delivering to speak to me when I unexpectedly had to be induced and she was off. She also showed up the next day at 6 am before her shift to come say hi! She really went above and beyond and would highly recommend her to anyone!

Dr. Klyn was very kind at the beginning but as my time with her progressed (as did my pregnancy) I experienced a rude and disrespectful bedside manner. She would tell me to that she was the expert and not to ask so many questions, everything would be fine. She forgot to tell me that we’d be seeing a high risk ultrasound tech for fibroids, and refused to tell me what stress tests for our baby were for because she didn’t want us to skew the results, she said. My experience ended with a horrible failed c-section. Upon whoosh she said that she thought I’d be a good pusher but she guessed I was wrong because I gave up. She expected more from me. I didn’t expect such shame to be thrown in my direction. I was disappointed in her bedside manner at the end of the pregnancy, she was cold, unkind, and detached. I didn’t feel like she listened to me and I deeply wish I could have chosen someone else early on. I definitely did for my second pregnancy.

Professional, courteous.I went for an ultrasound as I am self pay and my local hospital was very expensive. Dr Klyn refused the service as the protocol for health I am following she does not agree with.We all must do our best we are the shepherd’s of our health. I will not return as a doctor should listen and be open minded.

Dr. Klyn has been an outstanding OB thus far. We, unfortunately, suffered a loss with this pregnancy but Dr. Klyn was outstanding adding us on to her schedule to sit down and discuss options the next day. When I had my D&C procedure done she was so supportive, even holding my hand while my sedation began. I am looking forward to continuing to see her with better outcomes in the future.

Dr. Klyn was patient, informative, listened, and engaged me with every question and concern. I was beyond impressed with her experience and patient care.

Dr. Klyn is the very best! She empowered me to make decisions about my care after presenting all the information. I have never felt rushed at an appointment even when I’ve seen her come running into the office from a delivery and knew she was running behind. She truly cares about her patients. I’m sad that I’m finished having babies and will only see her yearly from now on.

She stands out among her peers each time I’ve had to be seen. Being a patient that expects many attributes with all my Doctors, Dr. Klyn is top notch across the board. Perfect bedside manner, knowledgeable, friendly, and caring. Highly recommended!

I’ve been a PICU/NICU for a long time now so I had a lot of anxiety about pregnancy and birth knowing just about everything that can go wrong. Dr Klyn at Grand Rapids Women’s Health made all three of my pregnancies and deliveries a dream. She has a deep knowledge of all things pregnancy and delivery and with that she calmed my fears. It’s evident that she is very passionate about her patients and always made me feel like her only one. She knows when to worry and when not to. She keeps up with the literature and research and explains everything so well. She makes it a priority to be sure she is the one to deliver your baby if she is able. She always was checking on me even when she was not on call. She visited me at the hospital in the early mornings even after delivery before she had to be at the office. I enjoyed every single office visit with her because she would talk with me like an old friend but was also very professional .Dr. Klyn is one of a kind. HIGHLY recommend

I am so thankful for Dr Klyn’s kind and compassionate approach to my care. Every part of my exams are handled with respect and with a goal of helping me to understand and be understood. I leave feeling heard, seen, and knowing that I and my care matters.

Dr Klyn has amazing bedside manner. She answered my questions, let me feel like I was in control of my care, asking what I thought or felt. She is kind and truly cares about her patients.

I love Dr. Klyn! She has been the best doctor through my 2 pregnancies. She is so friendly and caring which makes you feel really comfortable especially being first time parents. She’s always happy/positive and is always supportive. She takes the time to get to know you and answer all your questions. Highly recommend!

Dr Klyn is absolutely amazing. She is so kind and personable. I recently switched to her office for my 4th pregnancy and I truly wish she could have been my OB for all my pregnancies. You can tell she really cares about her patients and wants to be there for you every step of the way!

Dr. Klyn was great, I looked forward to our appointments. She likes to get to know and see her own patients, so you will have to reschedule if she is ever out of the office. She is one of the best doctors I’ve ever had, she made me feel comfortable. 10/10 she will be my choice for all my babies.

I absolutely love Dr. Kyn! This was my first pregnancy and I was very nervous and she made me feel so comfortable and confident throughout the entire pregnancy. She listens, is honest, kind, caring, intelligent, understanding and genuinely an all around amazing doctor and person. She goes above and beyond for her patients and I could not recommend a better physician to care for me and for my baby. I was sad that I would not be seeing her anymore after my baby was born. I will forever be grateful to her for everything she did for my family and I and you will not find a better, more passionate doctor than her. :)

I mean we don’t love going to the OBGYN but she is so personable and kind. She makes everything less stressful. She’s also delivered one of my children and was great with maternity care as well. I was told that for routine paps I would have to start seeing her Nurse Practitioners so was a bit disappointed but she is overall a great physician.
