Dr. Michelle Harrison, MD

I had Dr. Harrison in Indiana and I'm telling she was the most comfortable and compassionate Dr. To have. She listened and made me feel at ease. Since then I had to find a new one to replace her and I walked out of the office crying wishing she was back! I've never felt so emotional walking out of a Dr. Office like I did yesterday. And I truly know if she was there it wouldn't be like that.! When she did my surgery she made me feel at ease and explained everything!

Have used Dr. Harrison for two pregnancies. She and her staff create a positive, welcoming and friendly environment for patients. Scheduling was a bit difficult due to her being busy and my having children’s’ schedules to work around. Appointments feel a bit rushed as she didn’t take time to look into some of my concerns. I was told all were completely normal. She did not make it to the hospital in time to deliver my first baby. My second was delivered by another OB Dr that was on call. Through this doctor I learned that some of the concerns I’d expressed at appointments were indicators of a bigger issue. It was also mentioned later by one of the nurses that Harrison had forgotten to give me a medication that I needed to help prevent complications. (None of this was said directly to me but was overheard in the same room and seen through actions and tests carried out afterwards.) Overall a nice, friendly doctor but a little too unconcerned with patient queries.

Dr. Harrison and her team are all very caring. I had my second pregnancy delivered at Columbia City. The team always took their time to ensure I had my questions answered during my OB appts. I was able to schedule around my work schedule; flexible. I never felt like I was rushed out the door and the wait time was not like other offices I had been to in the past. I would recommend Dr. Harrison to my family and friends.
