Dr. Michelle Ellis, MD

We want to personally thank Dr. Michelle Ellis, her PA Loren, the surgery staff and staff on the ICU floor at the Eau Claire Marshfield Cancer Hospital for the concern and care I received before and after my surgery. What a team; all of these professional caregivers are definitely at the “top” of their medical field practices. Their kind and friendly attitudes put me at ease during my trying ordeal.

Sincere thanks go out to Dr. Ellis and her PA and staff on the ICU floor of EC Marshfield Hospital. I had the best of care from all who I was is contact with. This surgeon went over and above to get my surgery scheduled and completed as quick as possible. Her follow up care was great. I saw both her and her PA every day till my discharge. Very knowledgeable physician and easy to understand. She really cares about her patients and desires to do the best job she can. Also, good follow up. I got a phone call in less then a week after leaving the hospital. I recommend Dr. Ellis and her staff!

A great doctor who cares for her Patients

Triple bypass June 4 (30 days ago). Back to work full time yesterday, without pain or any concerns. Dr. Ellis was a clear and courteous communicator, very confident in her own skills which helped me trust her. She went out of her way to provide personal follow up. Surgery and all post-op care went exactly according to the plan laid out by Dr. Ellis, except my recovery is ahead of schedule. She closed the incision with beautiful, clean appearance. I feel fortunate, and highly recommend Dr. Ellis.

I had a triple bypass performed by Dr. Ellis circa 4/19/17. The care that I received from Dr. Ellis and the Essential Health Staff was beyond my expectations. How can these individuals care for so many day after day and have such dedication and care for the patient? I will, for all my remaining days, be grateful.

Dr. Ellis performed a triple bypass on me at Essentia in Duluth Mn on 3-15-2018. On a scale of 1-5, I would have to give her a 9.5, she was AWESOME. The biggest problem I have a month after my surgery is people do not believe that I really did just have surgery. My energy level is almost back to normal and when I show people my scar they tell me it should be ugly and gnarly so I must have had something else done. I would recomend Dr. Ellis without hesitation.

Dr Ellis is a very caring and compassionate person. I didn’t have the opportunity to meet her ahead of time in an office setting because my surgery was an urgent one.

She spent a lot of time explaining what to expect from surgery. And she continued to provide excellent care while I was in the hospital. I have recovered without any problems and feel great!

terrible surgeon

My experience was not a good one when she was in Michigan! Had the surgery, ended up with 6 stents within a month after surgery. Been opened up twice since surgery to remove infected sternum wires. Not a good experience for me. ??
