Dr. Michelle Draznin, MD

Dr. Draznin and her nurse team were great. Dr. Draznin explained the surgical process thoroughly. It took three attempts to remove the cancer past the margins. Dr. Draznin was able to determine the remaining infected area quickly and finished in about an hour. Tammy, the assisting nurse, was very clear in explaining how to change the dressing over the next 6 weeks. The whole experience was very good!

Dr. Draznin and Jessica took the time to thoroughly explain the different options to my mom and were patient in making sure she was comfortable with her decision. This takes a little longer now that she's 90. Also, all Kaiser staff have been very accommodating in getting multiple items (received her flu shot while at this surgical appointment) taken care of at each appointment. They have also extended this service to me (her daughter) since I have been bringing her to her appoinments (I received my flu shot as well). Thank you everyone for working so diligently to make this difficult time a little less so :)

Dr. Michelle Draznin, MD very competently performed a third MOHS procedure for skin cancer on my head. She is a true expert specialists and deserves high praise for her surgical precision and outstanding results both surgically and cosmetically. Her resume, with now over 10,000 procedures, speaks for itself. I would highly recommend her to anyone needing MOHS surgery.

I was unfair to Dr. Draznin in my 2 previous reviews. I do have a scar after Mohs surgery but I believe that silicone bandages will improve the appearance of the scar. Dr. Draznin went out of her way to make sure that I would feel better with the results (will not post the details on this though). She does care about her patients. I thought that she had performed a skin graft and she had actually done a skin flap.

I was treated for basel cell carcinoma by Dr Draznin and am now in to the second phase of my site's healing with some scar tissue massage routine. I have a good rapport with her and felt very welcomed by her and her nurse assistant today for my post-op inspection. She exudes kindness, and is very professional in caring about my concerns. We are calm and communicative with each other. Whenever I may need help again I will be eager to be treated by Dr Michelle Draznin . --Christopher Hughes

I got surgery for skin cancer on my face from Dr. Draznin. Though I'm sure she does hundreds of these surgeries in a fairly short time, I felt like one of a herd of cattle. The surgery didn't take long, and the instructions were short. They worked, but after a few months when I was unhappy with the scar by my mouth, she pulled out a lazer and after 5 min.,told me to come back if it didn't work. It didn't, but I don't feel like going back. No emotional support whatsoever of a disfiguring scar.
