Excellent and compassionate doctor. She treats you and your family members with respect and dignity. She spent a significant amount of time explaining my diagnosis to us and answered all questions clearly and in a way we could understand without using a lot of confusing medical jargon. Her nurse practitioner Jillian is amazing as well! I felt a lot less nervous undergoing surgery knowing I was in her competent, experienced and skilled hands. I will definitely recommend her to others.

The overall knowledge, patience and care is what stuck out to me. Jillian is wonderful and so is everyone there. I communicated with her the most during calls and visits. During Covid, it's a stressful time and the entire staff made me feel more comfortable about office visits.

Dr. Azu comes highly recommended by me. I have been a patient of her's since the fall of 2017. Her warm bedside manner coupled with her extensive knowledge made what could have been a very scary situation a positive one. I felt I was a priority every time I visited her office and never doubted we were on the right path in terms of my medical treatment. I can't say enough about my positive experience with Dr. Azu, Jillian (her nurse practitioner) and her entire office staff.

I absolutely LOVE Dr. Azu!!! Along with her FANTASTIC credentials, which speak such high volume, comes her caring, warm and personalized treatment, which is so reassuring and so impressive! She truly puts you at ease, explains everything to you, spends time with you, and at this very scary time period of my life, I know I am in the BEST hands!! I am so very thankful and grateful for all she is and ALL she is doing for me! Thank you, Dr. Azu!!!!

Dr. Azu's appointment availability at Lawrence Hospital is limited to 2 days likely due to her teaching courses. When I made the appointment, I was told to gather previous medical history records ahead of my appointment time and get the records to her office to review in advance of my appointment. I did as the office asked but at my appointment, I waited an hour and 15 mins to see her from the time of check-in. Unacceptable. Knowledgeable doctor but could tweak her office prep for improvement.

We had gone to 3 different surgeons for opinions upon my wife's diagnosis and Dr Azu was by far the most compassionate and thorough. She explained everything in GREAT detail where the others we saw just ran through the reports like robots. She gave us the education we needed to understand what we were dealing with. She is easily accessible and she really does care about her patients. All doctors should be like her.

Dr Azu is amazing. Rare to find a doctor these days that truly cares about the patients well being, not just physically but emotionally. Dr. Azu is extremely detail oriented and compassionate. I'm so glad to have been under her care. I consider her an angel.

I went to Dr. Azu for a second opinion. She was extremely down to earth and knowledgeable. She spent a lot of time with me discussing my concerns and reviewing my history. I know this is what is expected, but she did it on a superior level. I would highly recommend her.
