Found her to be overwhelmed. Could not remember the medications my daughter had used in past. Very quickly changed a medicine decision in a meeting with her based on 1 additional sentence I provided. Only had daytime hours which was a problem for a high school student.

Dr Deneys has a wonderful personality, is warm, easy to talk to, and encouraging. However, that is the only positive. She suggested medications that I told her I had tried in the past with no success. She is always late, which makes me think she suffers from the psychiatrist problem that they think their time is more valuable than ours. She did however make me feel like I had an active role in my treatment plan, probably because she didnt want to put the effort in formulate a plan on her own

Dr. Deneys was a terrible fit for our family - she was uncomfortable dealing with female adolescent, did not interact well with the care team, and jumped to conclusions that had no basis in fact. I would not recommend her ever.
