Dr Yacoub's staff is the best I've ever seen. From the first point of reception to heading out the door. People were actually happy to see that I was a new patient and ultra helpful. Dr Yacoub has an excellent rapport with his staff and the patient. Fortunately I did not require any additional care other than monitoring my situation. I felt quite confident in the manner he handled my case and I look forward to working with him and his staff in the future.

Dr Michael Yacoub is the reason I can walk upon the earth. He saved my leg. Thank you so I can once again dance with my beautiful wife. You are my super hero. You will always be in my heart and soul. An amazing surgeon and person. Thank you for being you. You are what heros are made from. You are a gift.

Went for leg ablation at Halifax Hospital. Arrived at 12:30; wheeled off to cath lab about 3:30; woke up about 4:45. NEVER saw Yacoub before nor after surgery. Supposed to get a follow-up call the next day -- another lie. Compression bandages wrapped around legs so tight that lymph fluids exited through my skin, making blisters up and down my legs.

Dr. Yacoub is a fantastic surgeon. The job that he does is not always easy, but he always has the patients best interest at heart. Not only is he considerate and skilled, he is a good person. I encourage anyone that needs a vascular surgeon to go see Dr. Yacoub!
