Dr. Michael Witt, MD

Dr. Witt is always attentive and takes his time answering questions. I appreciate his help.

I sent Dr. Witt a message with a question regarding my recent covid experience. Without going into too much detail, his response included “Not sure why you would do….” That’s not really a way to speak to a patient in my opinion, especially when they are simply asking a question.

My brother was seen in office today for his eye, which had clear blisters surrounding it. Dr Witt diagnosed him with conjunctivitis, despite my brother's concern with that diagnosis. He even went back to the office after the appointment for clarification, but Dr. Witt couldn't be bothered with anything other than a 2 min exam, and had a nurse talk to him instead. My brother was diagnosed with shingles, which was the concern he raised with this Dr, who dismissed it. Thankfully, this blatant misdiagnosis was caught by an eye doctor and hopefully will not result in blindness. Dr. Witt is dismissive and neglectful and I would not recommend anyone see him for any sort of ailment. Not even a cold.

Very friendly and knowledgeable. Could not ask for better care and would highly recommend Dr. Witt.

I have had Dr. Witt as my doctor for a couple of years. He is the first doctor to sit down and talk with me. He doesn't just run in and back out. He takes time to listen to my issues and concerns. I feel he takes a personal interest in my health. His staff is the best. All of them have been friendly and professional. They are extremely good at their job very patient with me. I am thankful to have Dr. Witt and his staff as my health care provider! I would recommend them highly.

I have been a patient of Dr. Witt for several years and he has treated me well for the most part with expedited procedures - shortening time and costs. His staff does seem very busy -- not enough medical centers around greater Dayton area? And there is a delay between scheduling an seeing the doctor but for urgent cases the staff goes out of its way to make exceptions to get you in ASAP.

His office has the WORST management. You all to get an appt and find out it is months to see him or they tell you to call at 8 in the morning to see if there are any open appts. Then you sit on hold forever before anyone answers the phone. Nurses who answer the phone are rude and uninformed.Dr With is not the best physician either....His answer to everything is to prescribe a new medication. Never want to do any tests to figure out the cause of your problem. I would NOT recommend Dr Witt

Wait times are long with no explanation and are getting longer since I have been a patient there. Staff not helpful. Time to find a new doctor.

He is rude and wouldn't listen to the symptoms I tried to talk to him about. My wife had the same issues. He has horrible bedside manner and has no business being a doctor in a family practice where he needs to talk to people in a way that makes them feel respected, listened too, or important. He seems interested in the paycheck only. Get them in and out. Won't even write a Rx for you based off another Dr rec without seeing you so he can get a paycheck even if you're across country.
