Dr. Michael Washinsky, DO

Has been very helpful to me. Im able to tell him how I'm feeling with the meds I'm on, and he's very receptive to feedback.

Dr. Washinsky has a gentle and amiable style, I never feel put-down or judged and I'm never embarrassed because I have a mental illness. He asks for my opinions and input, so we are making decisions together. He is truly wonderful.

Understands severe depression, and depersonalization disorder. The magstim device is the stuff of sci-fi but it got rid of my depression.

He is not aware of current studies, is nice , but not knowledgeable. His receptionist is rude and unhelpful. He does not return calls.

Dr. Washinsky has been nothing but supportive and helpful with everything. Since my bipolar diagnosis, he has helped me successfully find a regiment that works. I have seen doctors before that gave me the wrong diagnosis. Dr. Washinsky gets an A+ from me. To people complaining about the prices, those are the standard rates that you will find at any other psychologist/psychiatry practice. If it's too high, get insurance. Thank you Dr. Josh G.

Ridiculous! Twice I've tried to make appointments and the awful receptionist made me so angry I had to get off the phone. I was telling her I was a cash payer and needed to know how many appointments I needed so I could budget. first appointment is $400 the $200 every appointment after that. When I told her I thought that was "unconscionable" she illegally diagnosed me saying I had "anger disorder". She broke the law. Then kept saying over and over You are angry, you are angry.

Doctor washinsky Cut off my psych meds because I missed 2 appointments. I did have a phone appointment. The reason I missed my appointment was because he had me so drugged up, I couldn't get out of bed. It has been 10 days without my. Meds, I am going throughsevere withdrawals because he took me off toperimate pretty high dosage he told me to take half dosage for two weeks then just stop, except my prescription ran out after 9 days.he also refuses to refill my Klonopin,i've been on for over 10yr

Dr. Washinsky is the most intelligent, compassionate and caring psychiatrist I have ever encountered. He is astute in the most current therapeutic treatments which he takes the time to explain why they work , how they work and why it might be a good idea to give it a trial run. He is an incredible listener and asks thought provoking questions at just the right time. I always leave his office with a sense of hope and optimism rather than a sense of dread and depression. We are so lucky..

Dr. Washinsky is kind, professional and knowledgeable. He cares for my father, a disabled veteran, and has giving me insights into how to incentivize my fathers actions in caring for himself. He also caught two instances of slight over medication conflicts. I'm very grateful to have him as my fathers psychiatrist.
