From the moment I walked into the office I was made to feel like they knew me & I felt very comfortable. Dr. Walker took a lot of time speaking with me and going over all the CT Scans, MRI's & pet scan, along with the blood work. He diagnosed me in his office that first visit & he was 100% accurate! he put me at ease, walked me through every step & he really listened to me & repeated anything that i had a question about, He spoke to me , not at me!! His Pa & his nurse all spoke to me & went over family history & vitals etc. both of them were very professional without being stiff or cold, they both answered my questions & explained what they were doing and what would happed next. Then I meet with Caitlin who scheduled my surgery. She also explain everything I needed to know & do before surgery & answered all my questions & put me at ease. The office was very warm & friendly & ran very well. I had Robotic Surgery and was success !I highly recommend Dr. Walker & his team!! The Best!

I would highly recommend Dr. Walker to my family and friends. He is a very caring, professional and knowledgeable doctor. He spent a tremendous amount of time in consultation. He answered all my questions and made me feel very at ease. He was extremely skilled in the surgery he performed on me to bring me back to good health. His Physician's Assistant Tom Roesch was also very knowledgeable and added to my feeling of being treated by a team who cared about my health and healing. Eileen who was the office administrator was extremely helpful in setting up appointments for tests and follow ups. Tracy, the nurse always had a happy face and was a calming influence prior to my visits with Dr. Walker and Tom Roesch. I feel very lucky and grateful to have Dr. Walker and his staff care for me.

I was referred to Dr. Walker by my Pulmonologist. I knew that I was facing lung surgery. During my first visit with Dr. Walker, I found him to be very caring. He took the time to explain why I needed surgery and his treatment plan. He took time to answer all of my questions and even assisted in arranging to have me admitted to the hospital that day due to the severity of my condition. The surgery went well. Dr. Walker kept my spouse (who was at home) informed by phone, calling her twice to answer her questions and to give her an update. Dr. Walker is an outstanding surgeon. He combines surgical skill with real caring and concern for his patients. I strongly recommend Dr. Walker to anyone needing thoracic surgery.

Dr. Walker is a very attentive Dr. Very clear with explaining my condition and listening to and answering questions. Spends as much time as needed with me. Doesn't rush off to the next patient until he is sure I understand what he has told me. Also a very friendly man that puts you at ease with your situation.

Dr. Walker & his team are outstanding. They are professional, organized & efficient. During my first meeting he identified my problem & we discuss the possible scenarios to remediate the issue. His hand skill coupled with his ability to adjust to the situation are tremendous. He is a special person and he saved my life. Thank you Dr. Walker!

My experience with Dr. Walker has been nothing but top notch. From, pre- analysis to surgery, he has been on top on my condition. He has made the absolute correct call on when to have surgery as well as the diagnosis leading up to surgery. His staff and the group around Dr. Walker have been extremely professional as well. Dr. Walker is a caring and attentive doctor. He takes time with you to explain everything so you understand the procedure you are going to get and how you will feel during recovery. Dr. Walker was recommended to me from another doctor. What a great recommendation it was! His staff is so approachable and patient (I made at least 4 calls with questions etc... and each time was handled with respect and answers. Dr. Walker is very straightforward and approachable. I recently had lung surgery performed by Dr. Michael J. Walker. Not only is Dr. Walker an extremely competent and superior surgeon, he is also a very caring and compassionate physician. He is kind, patient, and has a full understanding of what his patient is facing, not only physically, but emotionally as well. I am extremely grateful to have been referred to Dr. Walker to perform my lung surgery. I feel certain that it is because of his experienced surgical skills and compassion that I am recovering so well.

I met Dr. Walker thru another issue upon my arrival in the ED. He followed up on a procedure I needed when my first medical issue was resolved. He is knowledgeable, capable, friendly and down to earth. His office was exemplary in helping me schedule pre-surgical tests. My surgery went extremely well and I would recommend Dr. Walker to everyone.

I can't say enough great things about Dr. Michael Walker! The thought of invasive lung surgery was so overwhelming that I didn't think I could go through with it! Then I met Dr. Walker and his calming manner, knowledge, and expertise made me go forward with the much needed surgery. He is thoughtful, professional, and amazingly caring! He talked me (and comforted me) through every step of the way, and now I am on my way to a full recovery! Both my Pulmonologist and PCP highly recommended him, and I am glad I took their advice and chose him!

I had a growth removed from my lung that turned out was not cancerous. However I had a persistent lung air leak and pretty much blew up like a balloon. Ten days later Dr. Walker did repeat surgery found the leak and repaired it, buttressing the suture line. During my extended stay Dr. Walker and his PA TJ were attentive, kept me and my family informed and because I got such outstanding care I am now well on my way to a full recovery. I can not thank them enough for my excellent care.

In addition to being a skilled surgeon, Dr. Walker patiently walked me through every step of the process. His diagnosis, treatment and recovery plans, prognosis, and follow-up have been spot on. I certainly do not wish lung cancer on anyone. However, should it rear its ugly head, I cannot imagine a better partner than Dr. Walker and his professional staff.

I would definitely recommend Dr Michael J. Walker to anyone who needs Thoracic Surgery. Besides being competent he is one of the nicest, warmest doctors I have had. He answered all my questions and took time to brief me on what to expect during and after my lung surgery. I felt that I had known him all my life !!!

Michael Walker was recommended to me by my pulmonary doctor. I looked him up online and his credentials seemed good. I'm very glad that I went with him. He really takes the time with you and goes over everything thoroughly so that you are able to understand it. He is very pleasant and friendly I would recommend him to everyone.I didn't have any problems with him or the staff. The wait time wasn't bad neither.. the only problem was my commute from Lansdale to Paoli. It was well worth it though.

My experience with Dr. Walker has been fantastic. He spent a lot of time with my husband and I on our first visit to begin the testing required to get a plan in place. Every visit after that he answered all our questions throughly. He was quick to call with good test results. Dr Walker, his staff and the team he assembled for my care are the best. Caring, skilled and compassionate care. Mom had lung cancer and is 5 years cancer free. Dr Walker treated us like a member of his own family. He spend as much time as we needed to understand both diagnosis and treatment in everyday terms.
