It was terrible seeing Dr Torres several years ago. I was charged full cash price because he told me accepted my insurance when he did not. Today I called to have my records transferred, and asked for a copy to be sent directly to me. His administrator said they were only able to send directly to the provider. This is not a standard procedure, and he was unwilling to speak to me about the matter. He is one of the least helpful mental professionals I have ever encountered. I do not recommend choosing him as a resource or support.

Terrible and traumatizing. Doctor Torres recommended I cut an anti-depressant in half without gradually reducing dosage and assured me there would be no side effects. After five days of dizziness, vomiting, horrible anxiety I ended up in the emergency room. When I followed up with him afterward and explained that I had suffered horrible side effects, he became angry. Then and there I decided to never go back. Thank goodness I found another doctor who expertly weaned me from the problematic medicine and got me on the right one. Cannot stress enough how truly awful my experience with Dr Torres was.

I had a horrible experience with Dr. Torres. During our appointments I felt like he was an adult lecturing me like a child. He did not take the time to explain why he chose a certain medication over another. Dr. Torres missed the adverse side effects I was experiencing from a medication and simply prescribed me medication on top of more medication. He did not respond to emergency texts or calls. I would not recommend him.

I am a current patient of Dr. Torres. He helped me with anxiety and depression due to work and he was a life-safer! He gave me my "happy pill" and the much needed time of to regroup away for work stress. I am now back at the same job and much better and able to cope with the work stress.

I've had a terrible experience with this doctor who terminated our relationship because I questioned whether he correctly wrote a prescription. He wrote it incorrectly and he also did not respond to multiple calls from the pharmacy. When I questioned him, his response was: "I'm very surprised you would tell me what I had or had not done. I'm also uncomfortable that I would need to present evidence. I think you should begin searching for another provider. My word should be taken as truth".

Dr. Torres is one of the best in his field. I have been seeing mental health professionals for decades and I have seen the "best". Only Dr. Torres was able to diagnose my issues and help me to lead a much better quality of life. I would highly recommend him.

He is not compassionate. He doesn't value your progress and will try to make you feel bad. I've cried after seeing him. He doesn't even seem like he likes his job. Worst mental health provider I've had.

I've seen a handful of doctors and no one has ever taken the time to listen to me and actually spend time figuring out how to make me feel better. I have finally found balance between my medication, stress in my life & depression all thanks to him. He's a great doctor and a wonderful, kind, relaxed person, too. He has given me the will to find myself and my niche in this world.
