Deceiving personality!! I never want to return
I saw him a couple years back after experiencing the worst pain of my life after falling on both wrists. Could never actually find out what was causing the fire like sensation in my thumbs. It hurt to be touched by wind. He told me if the pain still bothers me down the road to come back. Well, recently at my return visit I still experience flare up’s and also on top of that really bad shoulder pain. He was nice UNTIL I mentioned I was about to graduate from treatment. Mind you this was for alcohol not any other substances. Him and the PA basically told me what I said was hurting didn’t make sense. I had a nerve test done since seeing him and I will NOT be returning to him ever again. I feel like I won’t ever be able to live pain free but I never wanna feel like that again.

DOES NOT CARE. BEWARE!
If it isn’t something he can fix then he doesn’t care about properly diagnosing. He definitely did not listen to me and did not care about seeking the correct diagnosis. I finally received the correct diagnosis and now I am left with facing potentially a life with no way out of debilitating pain it has been so long. Because of what he did (and didn’t do) there are days when I want to die. It’s a disgusting and disgraceful level of care. I will never go to another OrthoNebraska. Not even if it were life and death.

Dr. Thompson ignored my complaints about excessive pain post-surgery for nearly two years. He said it was normal and that the pain can take up to two years to go away, but this was pain so bad I couldn’t do things like drive myself or walk more than six blocks without throbbing pain. When I finally saw a new doctor, he looked at the last x-rays Dr. Thompson had taken and saw my bones were drastically misaligned! I wish I’d seen the other doctor sooner, because now I have chronic pain issues.

Horrible experience!!!! Performed my surgery then threw me away!! Surgery was supposed to take 2 hours; he finished in 30 minutes. Surgery was a complete failure. He only seen me for one only one follow up visit. The offie or nurse never returned my calls. I ended up finding another Orthopedic doctor to take over my care. I completed Physical Therapy only to learn that the surgery was a complete failure I am now repeating surgery a year later.!!! Don't trust this doctor!!!!
