I was my fathers caregiver who was also a patient of Dr.Smolak. He cared enough about me taking care of my dad and recognized I was tired and sent me for blood work. He takes care of my mother also. He cares deeply about people goes above and beyond being a caring personal doctor

This was my first time to Dr. Smolak and it was a great experience. He was very informative and told me exactly what to expect during my physical. He was kind, knowledgeable and his bedside manner was great. I would definitely recommend this doctor to anyone that is looking to establish with a new family doctor.

My appointment with Dr Smolak was fine, it was the follow up that was extremely poor. I went in for a pain under my right rib cage that lasted for 7 days. Dr Smolak, put me through a number of tests and said that he would reach out with a follow up. The pain did subside but I emailed Dr Smolak through the Cleveland Clinic mychart to see what the pain was. I heard no response, I called. Still no response, it's been a month and I still have not heard from Dr. Smolak and the pain has returned.
