Michael Schindel was my mother's doctor. Very self centered, snobby, constantly lecturing everyone around. Absolutely heartless. Highly do not reccomend.

Rude, arrogant and does not listen well
Do not challenge him because he may cancel you as a patient, as he did me.

Irregardless of negative results from imaging exams including a P.E.T scan, the net step in his plan was to perform a biopsy. Then by his own words, even if the biopsy proved to be non-malignant, he planned on removing a portion of my lung "just to be certain." GIVE ME A BREAK, and the name of a more qualified, trustworthy physician! If there was a less than one star review, in my opinion, he'd qualify!

He thinks he's funny, more rude and condescending.
I think he is a good pulmonologist, being knowlegeable and would take good care of his patients. But...he is rude and arrogant. I asked him a question regarding my lung capicity and he treated me like I was stupid. My husband then asked him the same question asking him to explain the answer. He then changed his answer. I don't feel like he listens to women at all. Maybe he doesn't act this way with men, but women keep on searching. I will say his nurse is outstanding and his staff.

Terrible bedside manner when dealing with a 20 year old. Pompous and arrogant would be the words I would use to best describe his mannerism. In addition, he has no tact or empathy. Seemed rush and thought his time was more important and this was because we were kind enough to reschedule with him after learning he needed to be elsewhere during our initial appointment. Did not take much time with patient and was quite condescending. Would NOT recommend.

Dr. Schindel is a very bright, proactive doctor that takes the time to get to know his patients, their history and develops a treatment plan just for you - he also adjusts as needed. I highly recommend Dr. Schindel.
