The best surgeon imaginable.
He performed a Nissen Fundoplication on me nearly 9 years ago. He nailed it, absolutely perfect, and I haven't had any issues since. He was able to squeeze me in right before Christmas, after I was initially slotted 2+ months into the future. Very nice, cool, and top notch, I strongly recommend him.

Went to Dr Rosen for hiatal hernia surgery. I never seemed to get past the pain and the feeling something just wasn’t right. I called the office several times and was told what I was experiencing was normal. My movements were limited, could not sleep or lay on left side, could not eat very much at a time. Ten weeks post surgery I found myself in an emergency room needing emergency surgery. The hernia was still there, allowed my stomach to become strangulated. A thoracic surgeon literally saved my life. Ironically, within a few days after second surgery I felt fine, no pain! Didn’t even need pain pills the second time. If you need abdominal surgery go thoracic surgeon. But don’t use Rosen. I obviously had a very serious situation after surgery and he and nurses just blew me off!

Very poor bedside manner. I travelled to see him after a number of botched surgeries at considerable expense. Had a very poor experience with his resident and he should try to actually listen to the patient rather than just take whatever his trainee interprets. He treated me as if I was making up the documented hernias and discomfort and treated me with no respect or empathy at all. Like I would bother flying to Cleveland midwinter for nothing? What a wasted trip. And disappointing experience with the Cleveland Clinic.
