Dr. Michael Romberg, MD

First off, Dr Romberg is an experienced surgeon. He talks and explains things to you in a way you can easily understand. It’s very evident he cares about his patients. He answers all questions and concerns. His office is super professional also, from the phone clerk, to the nurses on staff, to the office manager, everyone involved there are the Best. They even send text and email reminders of your appointment and or surgery with dates and times.I can’t say enough about how happy I am that Dr Romberg (SAS Surgical) was recommended to me by my primary physician. Dr Romberg is the Best!

I have been going to Dr. Romberg for four months and he is a Amazing Doctor.. He treated my wound I had with care.. He's very careful and nice.. He's a healer. I love the staff. They were so nice and friendly. I would recommend him to whomever needs help.

From the first visit to the last visit and ringing the bell Dr. Rombergs care was amazing. He and his staff were absolutely outstanding. Nurse Tina was very helpful allying any fears my mother felt regarding the surgery. My mother and I were very happy with the surgical outcome. Ten thumbs up for you Dr. Romberg and staff.

I’ve had a long and frustrating series of surgeries from an open wound that would not close, but after my first visit with Dr. Romberg, I had a very good feeling about him. After just 5 months with him, I’m literally almost done being healed and I just can’t wait because I will finally put this frustrating chapter of my life behind and it is all thanks to Dr. Romberg.

He treated a leg wound for almost a year. Kept me informed on what was going on, options for treatment, kept me from getting too discouraged (I’m not a very patient person!). Very proactive, noticed a lesion on my face and said “we need to address this soon” and did so. The staff is friendly and helpful. Very happy I found this practice.

I had an amazing surgery with Dr. Romberg. He made me feel comfortable and not stressed about the surgery. The staff at his office was so friendly and made me feel like they cared. I wish I could have Dr. Romberg as my regular doctor. Every visit everyone was so friendly and remembered me by name. and that treatment wasn't just with me, while in the waiting room the staff was like that with every patient that came in. Scheduling was always so fast as well, within my first visit my surgery was scheduled the very next week. Dr. Romberg definitely made this stressful situation a lot more pleasant. I'm very thankful for him.

The office visit was very professional. Staff was very welcoming before and after my surgery. The doctor was very patient and thorough about what I was experiencing and explained what I needed done. My post surgery visit was very encouraging and the news was that I was 100% healed was surprising and made my day. I would recommend Dr. Romberg to all my friends and family in need of services that he provides.

I had the best visit with the doctor and staff there and so happy i was referred to him and if i had to recommend him to anyone i would 100 percent do it cause he a down to earth doctor and staff is very nice and especially Julie too!!!

Dr. Romberg & his assistant Tina goes above & beyond to make sure his patient has the best medical care possible, example my mom had to go to the ER & they didn't insert my mom port until Dr. Romberg got on the phone & called in to make sure they took care of my mom immediately, another example Advocate South Suburban Hospital/Radiology Department was giving my mom the runaround sending her to another hospital without paper work & trinity hospital didn't have any knowledge of what was going on until his assistant Tina step in & got south suburban on the phone to do their job. I feel very comfortable in saying that my mom is in great hands with Dr. Romberg & I'm very happy with the service he has provided for my mom.

Dr. Romberg was awesome and he greatly improved my quality of life. I felt very assured with knowing the amount of experience he has. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. Overall I had a great experience, I highly recommend.

His staff for one is very welcoming as he is too. I was so afraid of my surgery and he made me at ease and his aftercare is great too. I would highly recommend him for surgery! Very happy and thankful with all he has done for me.

When my primary doctor told me that Dr. Romberg was his choice when his daughter needed a surgeon, that’s all I needed to hear. Such excellent doctor really caring and carefully treated. He did such a great job with my surgery! I was in so much pain I called his office staff got me in the very next day!!!! Even after surgery his assistant Tina called to check on me!!!!

I had been battling boils for over five years and been to three different hospitals and I finally meet This one nurse who referred me to Dr.Mike and as soon as he talked with me and seen my condition in less than 1 minute I had a true diagnosis and was on my way to be cured. April this year I had a boil pocket start to leak and when I spoke to Nurse Tina she spoke to Dr. Mike and they sent me straight to the hospital and I was admitted and he came right away and check me out and did emergency surgery during the pandemic to save my life I will be forever grateful for him. I was referred Dr. Romberg by a family member who lives in the greater Chicago area. I have needed an operation for about 6 years when I met Dr. Romberg. He was a clear communicator who allowed me to feel calm and confident about the surgery I needed to get. I was nervous in the OR before and after the surgery and he was there the whole time to remind me that I was safe. I do not hope I have to get another surgery ever in life, but if I do I know that I could not trust anyone more for it than Dr. Romberg.
