Horrible
As soon as he walked in he said, oh you're in a wheelchair. Acted annoyed and cut me off with my symptoms. Asked who sent me. Proceeded to tell me I needed to have my guts rearranged, weight loss surgery, how he certainly wouldn't want to do that himself. Then put in my chart that I have a hygiene issue. Umm, no hygiene issue here. I know how to bathe. Very unpleasant visit. Do not recommend this doctor.

No, did not make him my rheumatologist
Maybe he had a conflict with my excellent Harvard trained lung doc and cancer center. Dr pick wanted to run the show over the lung doc and cancer treatment center and I thought he was arrogant. Lung doc referred me to him cause I had to get a rheumatologist to treat my rare and deadly autoimmune disorder.

Love him
Been seeing Dr Pick for 3 or 4 years. He and his nurses are wonderful. Dr Pick always spends at least a minimum of 20 minutes in the room with me, sometimes longer. Easy to talk to. He listens. He explains very well…. In terms I can understand. As long as he is practicing, I will continue to see him.

Was condescending the first time I saw him over 10 years ago for my fibromyalgia and even more so now with my new diagnosis of osteoarthritis. Did not want to look at sites of pain/inflammation/swelling(like my hands), only wanted to tell me my glutes being tight was the reason for my going on 2 years daily lower back pain. Oh, and I need to lose weight. Appointment was less than 15 minutes and a complete waste of time and money.

he was dismissive on my first visit. Acted like i was a bother and seemed bored with me telling him my symptoms. Very vague, I asked about a specific Muscle pain of what that could be..and in a condescending tone stated ‘well you wouldn’t know what that came from’

Dr. Pick took the time to explain everything to me in language we could understand. I needed a different type of Dr. and he called and got me an appointment right on the spot. The best Dr. I have seen in years.
