Several years ago, I had to change doctors because I had a persistent issue that I felt was not being addressed. I was sent to Dr. Picciano, and long story short, he was compassionate and listened to my situation, and left no stone unturned to find out what was wrong. Switching to him was the best thing I could have done. Since then, he has been my primary physician and he is always patient and willing to discuss any questions or concerns I have. He is the greatest.

I started seeing Dr. Picciano last December (it is now August) and and his staff have been nothing but wonderful. He actually caught a blood screening that came back showing some issues- he sent me to a specialist who caught a major issue. My previous doctor of 16 years missed it entirely! The team is caring and helpful. I STRONGLY suggest this doc and CNY Family Practice.

I only had him as a doctor for one year. I thought things were great until I received a letter of termination due to my “noncompliance”. When questioned about what my noncompliance actually was, he said that I cancelled 2/3 of my appointments which was an out and out lie. I cancelled one appointment, didn’t know I was breaking the rules. I would not trust this man for anything, let alone my health.

Would never go back to him or recommend him.Don’t like the way he has Treated me or recommend options. I couldn’t get out bed due too a severe Back Injury and my Wife took me to him and didn’t give any Medicine, told me too use Ice. I need Surgery and when asked about Pain Meds he replied “We aren’t opening that Door”?? He told me I had High Blood Pressure and needed to be on Medication. I told him I had a Stress Test in Hospital by the Cardiologist and was told, No problems at all. The Test was conducted 15 months before he said that the last 3 visits my Blood Pressure was high. Yeah Anxiety waiting too get called in the office. I’ve wasted 7 months with him, and wouldn’t call me in a refill of my Diabetes Test Strips, Ridiculous!!!!

This Dr is one of the most arrogant, rude, careless, condescending individuals I have ever met. He cares about one thing (himself) spends 5 minutes with you, and you wait a minimum of an hour to see him. He will terminate you if you complain at all, no conversation, no questions, you will simply get a letter that you are terminated. He is in tight with the ceo, also, stay far away from Picciano and the practice, it’s a death trap.

He's a wonderful doctor & I've been seeing him for almost 11 years. The only problem I have with his staff is that they don't know the difference between prescription Nexium (which is for acid reflux) and the OTC Nexium 24 hr (which is for occasional heart burn). I try to explain it to them & they look at me like I'm talking to then in a foreign language. I just got to the point that I just tell them to ask the doctor to explain to them the differernce.
