HE HEARD ME! HE TESTED ME! HE WENT OUT OF HIS WAY TO FIND ME A DOCTOR WHO COULD HELP WITH CANCER. HE IS PART OF A TEAM ... HE MAKES ME COMFORTABLE. HIS STYLE IS TO USE THE PHONE TO COMMUNICATE ... UN LIKE MANY THAT USE A PORTAL, OR TELECOMMUNICATION ... A REGULAR CALL IS ALWAYS SPECIAL. I LIKE HIM AND HIS WAYS ARE VERY TRADITIONAL AND FOR ME THAT WORKS WELL.

Dr. Perkins explains your condition throughly and understandably. He is also kind and compassionate, and cares about you as a patient. I would recommend him without hesitation.

This was my first visit with Pulmonologist Dr. Michael Perkins and he is excellent. Dr. Perkins is exceptionally skilled, competent and knowledgeable. Five stars also for his preparation for this first visit, having reviewed diligently all scans and reports sent to his office. Dr. Perkins explained clearly & succinctly the highlights of the tests taken, his recommended next steps, and the reasons why. He showed clear pictures of my scans and explained them to me. He inspired confidence and trust, taking the necessary time to be sure that I had accurate understanding and was in agreement with next steps. Dr. Perkins is Aces. I recommend him without reservation.

I've always had good experiences at Dr. Perkins' office. I rarely have a long waiting time. He is easy to talk to, doesn't duck questions and is very knowledgeable about pulmonary disease. He also responds to communications sent from home, which is very much appreciated. Overall great doctor!

Initial visit with my mom. The staff was all very friendly and prompt. Dr. Perkins was kind, knowledgeable and reviewed my mothers chart before coming in. He had testing done that day in the office. We never felt rushed. In fact, he was attentive. His staff had oxygen delivered to her home later that night. Very pleased we found him and his wonderful staff.

Dr. Perkins is a VERY committed and caring physician. He reviewed my images and answered all my questions and fulfilled my requests! A win-win. Too bad patients only have 15 minutes per visit!

I was referred by my cardiologist and was very pleased. He’s thorough and very personable. He asked questions and looked for answers. Meeting a new physician can be stressful but he and his staff made all that anxiety go away. This may be inappropriate but he’s easy on the eyes too! I found Dr. Perkins an upfront person who explains exactly what you have or do not have and what is the next step to resolving or minimizing your condition. He knows his stuff for sure and I would highly recommend him. Nice personality.

Overall I had a great experience with my first visit to Dr. Perkins. He is very professional and treated me with the utmost respect. He explained the CT scan results and set up a care plan for the future. My only problem was in getting the initial appointment set up. Somehow the referral from my primary care physician's office got lost and it took several days to get it straightened out. But everything went smoothly after that. I would highly recommend this team.
