Went in after son called 911 syncope collapse … not treated for that treated very poorly by this “ doctor “ who explained nothing .. you need to let him go

Fear mongering
Fear mongering and patronizing. Took my daughter to ER and instead of explaining a sample was invalid and that’s why her potassium was high, he told nurses to continue drawing until they blew her vein and I was told that I had to do it because something could happen and “potassium is used to k/ll inmates in prison” despite the reality being the labs couldn’t even be read and there were alternatives they could have used.

I had previously seen 2 other ER doctors for severe pain and they said they couldn’t find anything wrong in the tests they did, so there was nothing else they could do to help me. I was in so much pain and when I saw Dr. Owolabi he listened to me and took my pain seriously. I was given pain meds that actually helped reduce my pain and he admitted me to find out what was wrong. I now know what was causing my pain and am on additional medications to help. If Dr. Owolabi had not helped me, then I would be in much worse pain than I am now and I still wouldn’t know what was wrong. Thank you so much Dr. Owolabi for taking excellent care of me!
