Very attentive and thorough. Went to him for a second opinion and got a thorough examination with nice friendly people.

I see Dr. Najat for Glaucoma which would indicate that pressure would be taken. That never happened. The girl who saw me only checked which line I could read. When the doctor came in, he never took my pressure and when I asedhim about it, he said don't I remember looking at the blue and the drops. I didn't because that never happened. When I asked him what my pressure was, he mumbled a word behind the mask which wasn't clear. Obviously if it were taken I would have been told in more than one word. And he never went over the films to indicate whether I had more nerve damage or not. I believe I saw him since he was in and out in no more than five minutes. Not taking my eye pressure would indicate either a lack of caring or just a soppy work environment where pretending to do something is overlooked and even lied about. I'd like to know how this will be billed to my insurance since no examination, other than a cursory glance at my eyes and then a disappearing act .

I was looking forward to meeting with Dr Najat for my consultation. He performed my sister's eye surgery but based on the unprofessional experience I had I would never use them. I booked this appointment a month ago. Left work early and drove in from New Jersey to walk in the office and be told “Oh your appointment was suppose to be rescheduled. I was taken off without a phone call. The front desk worker said it’s “not her problem it’s scheduling issue” and the Doctor might be able to see me in an hour and a half all presented to me with her rude attitude. No offer to reschedule...nothing. I was ready to book my surgery. Looks like I will go elsewhere.

Wonderful Doctor! I have been a patient of Dr Nejat for over 5 years. Yes he is busy, but that’s because he’s a good doctor and he’s worth the wait. He listens and makes sure all my questions are answered. He did my cataract surgery last year and I am appreciative of the skill he brings to Staten Island. I asked him once why he is so busy and he answered “if I kept my office empty then I wouldn’t be able to help as many people. I’m in the business of helping as many people as I can”. Love this man. God bless you

NO...the man is rude and has no regard....just a number. Amid Covid 19, the office is well prepared....Dr. Nejat is just a doctor, just like I was treated just like a number....got to hospital at 10:00 AM and 5 hours later I was still waiting for surgery.....17th of the day....think about it....the man is just in it for the $$$....would definitely do your homework before going to Dr. Nejat. If he reads this, I am pretty sure he will know who I am....beware.

I went to Dr Nejat several times and all I got from him was a negative attitude. He totally missed the issues I was having and basically told me to deal with the reasons I came to him about and to come back in 6 months. I wasted time going to someone who's more wrapped up in his ego than his patients. I've finally a excellent eye doctor who has taken the time to address my concerns and is working to get my vision restored.

I had been to several other doctors on the island and no one could figure out what was wrong with me. Dr. Nejat figured out to help in in less than 10 minutes. He asked questions that no one else thought to ask and he took his time to explain what was wrong. I sing his praises everyday.

I recommend Dr. Nejat without reservation. He performed surgery to correct cataracts in both eyes and the experience was life altering. I have severe astigmatism in both eyes and wore glasses for 65 years. I could not be happier with the results. Dr. Nejat spent as much time as I needed to explain the procedure and allay my fears and his office and staff are professional and efficient. The best experience with life altering results! Thank you Dr. Nejat!

Dr Nejat was recommended by my primary doctor to me when I started seeing blurry. I was diagnosed with a cataract and Dr Nejat explained to me all the options available including the symfony lens which could help me see near and far. I went for a second opinion just in case but the other doctor I did not spend anywhere near as much time with me and definitely did not have as updates an office as Dr Nejat. I decided to go with Dr Nejat and now have 20/20 vision in both eyes. I am very happy.

Great experience with Dr. Nejat. I work at another doctor's office in Staten Island and I wanted to have have cataract surgery. Dr. N spent a fair amount of time with me describing what a cataract was and how the surgery was performed. He gave me the opportunity to ask all my questions. He spoke clearly and in words that made sense to me. He smiled and I could tell he takes pride in his work. I chose a premium lens (Symfony) and I can not only see more clearly, but I can read without glasses
