Don't question his treatment plan
We saw Dr. Nagel for nearly 2 years. At each visit, he would spend less than 10 minutes with us, we would hear exactly the same statistics and "everything looks great." What he wouldn't provide was an actual plan of care or what the long term approach would be. We began to question the approach, and Dr. Nagel became defensive, and was very disrespectful. It's his way or the highway. Find a different office.

Long waits for nothing
6 months out on appointments, then he enters the room 55 minutes after the appointment time to give a generic statement everything seems fine, but still wants us to go annually. Nothing to back up why, just to schedule in 6 months something 6 months after that because why would his office schedule 12 out at the time of the appointment?!

Unacceptable wait times for prescription re-fills to be called in. Despite requesting a re-fill 5-7 days early, my son runs out of his medication almost every month because it takes so long for Dr. Nagel to sign off on the re-fill request.

If I could give home a zero star I would. He is unprofessional and has no bed side manner. The wait just to see him isn’t worth it. I have been waiting for an hour and half to see him today. Promised that wait times would be more reasonable when he moved from Toledo clinic to ProMedica and it’s even longer.

Can't ever get through to anyone regarding test resulted. Wait over 3 days for a basic call back and they call AFTER 5PM. I call right back and it says office is closed. Always a very long wait 1hr-45+ mins and that's after you get back to a room. Doctor spends 5 minutes with you and is out. If that. Horrible service.

A concerned mother.. in Toledo, OH – Jun 06, 2018

Dr. Nagel refuse to listen to my daughter, who was almost 18, about what is going on and her neurological symptoms. Her appointment was rather long and my daughter was very uncomfortable and felt like he was not interested in what she had to say. The sign of a very arrogant position. We will not be back.

Treated my infant child for the wrong diagnosis. To head strong to refer to another doctor when unsure of treatment. Gave him over a month to figure out what was going on with our daughter, couldn't even tell me what kind of seizures we were treating at the time. We wasted time and our daughters developement on him. Within one week at new doctor, on new medications, daughter making leaps and bounds on milestones and improving everyday. Its so nice to have our daughters smile back!
