Dr. Michael Mullowney, MD

Dr. Mullowney was totally awesome. My husband was admitted to the hospital due to kidney complications. He (my husband) also had pneumonia. He had been in and out of the hospital every 2 weeks for almost 6 months for the pneumonia. They would give him antibiotics and send him home. Dr. Mullowney took the time to figure out that he had a different kind of pneumonia than he was being treated for. Put him on the correct antibiotics and actually cleared it up. He also figured out what was going on with my husband's kidneys and was able to treat the problem so he could come home. I have nothing but praise for Dr. Mullowney!

I had the total opposite experience of the previous reviewer. I found his bedside manner excellent. He listened to me, allowed me to ask as many questions I needed to, and explained my condition and treatment. I was hospitalized with. Rsv complicated by asthma. He was very knowable on treatment of both and continued alternative therapies until my body responded. He appeared to work well with the hospital staff and they clearly understood what he was trying and aided me in doing what it took to get well. I was discharged a week later. I have nothing but praise for Dr mullowney.

Took care of a good friend hospitalized in Soldotna. Walks into room on three different days in early morning hours. Last visit at 3 am, didn’t announce himself and pulled sheets back and placed his hands on patients legs before patient was awake or alert. Starts talking at him. Completely disrespectful.
