Dr. Michael Mitschke, MD

Dr. Mitschke was the only one who could figure out my husband's blood pressure issue. The combination of meds he prescribed worked perfectly. The office was very good about working him in when any problems arose, too.

I travel 4 and a half hours from out of town to see Dr Mitschke, my cardiologist for over 13 years now. Dr Mitschke is the best listener I’ve ever had in a physician. He makes patients feel valued and never rushes appointments. I have recommended Dr Mitschke to numerous family & friends both in and outside of the Houston area.

I cannot review the doctor's service or performance, because the staff at the 18400 Katy Freeway office would not answer the phone. After five minutes on hold waiting to make an appointment (every 30 seconds I was told to hold, my call was important), I was sent to an automated voicemail box. I called again, same result. I left my name, DOB, phone #, and reason for my call. Idiots never called back. Sorry, you lose. If your staff is that incompetent, what does it say about you?

My 97 year old mother has been a patient of Dr. Mitschke's for several years and has no complaints about the doctor; only his staff. She left messages for his nurse to call her back on three consecutive days with no results, and ended up having to cancel a scheduled procedure with another doctor because she could not get the information needed from Dr. Mitschke's office.

Absolutely the best. Taken care of my family for years. Superb in his field, gracious, truly concerned about his patients. Took care of my husband's issues. I had a rare heart problem, many doctors had not even heard of it and not many seen. He diagnosed it and treated me for it. He has never made me feel like I was only a number. He takes his time with you and explains things so u can understand. Has never rushed me out or made me feel I was an inconvience because of all my questions FANTASIC

One of the best cardiologists in Houston with the worst and rudest office staff I have ever met! Charging Medicare for a followup where no services were rendered is Medicare fraud so I wouldn't allow it... told by Erika they will just charge us! The great drs can not do their jobs with non RN help and office staff with zero manners nor respect. When Erika has coded her own family member and taken off thousands of dollars of work to be met by rude incompetency maybe she will get it! Karma baby!

He really takes the time to listen to your concerns. Kind and caring. Very informed.

Dr Mitschke does a excellent job of testing and collecting all data then explaining well the conditions and care needed.
