It is not Dr Michael McMahon’s fault. He has opened a new office in Nederland. His staff there is well organized. The staff in Port Arthur was rude and inept.

We used to use Dr. McMahon but his nurse practitioner did not sign the contract for our insurance. We were told by Kathy not to worry about the bill. Due to our health insurance would have paid 100% for a wellness visit. Well, we got stuck with the bill. On two children. After being told by Kathy it was taken care of. We had no idea that one of the nurse practitioners did not sign the contract with our insurance prior to seeing her. Now we have debt collector hounding us. And we paid one bills. And the debt collector is saying we didn't pay the bill. So, Dr. McMahon's office doesn't talk to the debt collectors.

Dr McMahon was a great doctor for helping us understand how to manage the disease for which my wife was admitted. He helped to expedite the concerns we had in an out of state hospitalization.

I wonder how many confirmed kills that he had so far. He earns one star because there we no option for 0 stars.

The line was busy when I called, but I left my name and reason for calling. They promptly returned my phone call. When I visited the office, the staff was extremely friendly and bubbly (even though it was a Monday morning). It made me feel very welcomed. The nurse practitioner was able to help solve my problem, and she was very kind every step of the way. I left the office laughing and full of gratitude. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for this kind of physician.

This Dr. office has really gone down hill over the years. His nurse practitioner are about the only one you will ever see. Appoints are almost impossible to get and you can almost never get anyone on the phone. I have been going to this doctor for over 10 years and he is under staffed and has to may patients.
