Dr. Michael McMahon, DO

I made an appointment to establish care 3 days in advance. I received the confirmation for the appointment the same day and a reminder email and text the day of the appointment. I arrived 20 minutes early and the office appeared empty. I called repeatedly and waited until 15 minutes after my scheduled appointment, and since the office does not have a voicemail inbox or forwarding number, I never reached anyone. No follow-up contact nor an explanation for the apparent cancellation. Disappointed.

I would give a zero if possible. The office is extremely unprofessional--- the front desk arrives late after the regular office hour without apologizing; and the doctor had a no-show without notifying patients who were waiting. When the front desk was asked to contact the no-show doctor why he was absent, the front desk couldn't get hold of the doctor. We had to wait for an hour before being told that the doctor cannot make it today. I have never had any experience like that before.

Dr Michael McMahon says all the right things, about it being a holistic approach, how he is not like other offices that operate like patient mills, about it being a 50-50 partnership between us. Unfortunately Mr McMahon does not hold up to his end of the partnership. Prescription was not sent to the pharmacy. Lab request was not sent to the lab. So I am standing there with no paperwork being forwarded. The voicemail of his office is full so I can't leave a message. Underwhelming experience!
