Unpleasant exchanges with doctor
After our family has seen Dr McCourt for years we have decided we can no longer put up with the rude behavior from him. Occasionally his mood seems good but more often than not he raises his voice at patients or seems angry. He is also rough with patients. Definitely going elsewhere.

2.5 minute visits and no follow through with treatment plan. Disinterested doctor. Received poor care and had to find a different doctor since he never sent referrals or prescriptions.

The office staff was rude, wouldn't accept that our secondary coverage was active without proof even with member number. Office required us make a copay when secondary confirms that is not necessary. The Dr staff said my husband had to be in the room with my 15 year old child due to HIPAA which is so not true, and then when pushed on the matter the Dr admitted it was "company policy". My husband tried to call, after I called our secondary to confirm coverage, to get a refund, and the office staff didn't know how to do their job and were very rude and hung up when trying to get them to confirm the secondary coverage which is an easy online process. Dr McCourt also talked about other physicians involved in my son's care with bad taste. The Dr and staff continuously misgendered my child. My husband did leave the room when the Dr came in, after letting the Dr know it was not HIPAA violation, and the Dr tried to offer my husband a coffee card as some kind of consolation.

Horrible waiting time. My mother un law had a very unpleasant time during her appointments. The treatment from the doctor was very unprofessional. He talked over her when she asked questions, and he was more concerned with trying to make extra money selling shoe inserts then he was with giving her advice on the healing process after surgery. She felt like they ran people through the place like cattle, rushing through as many patients as possible. She has carpel tunnel and cant type on the keyboard without severe pain, but she wants me to let people know that they should do their homework and find a different foot doctor to perform their assessment and surgery. She felt it was over priced, and that he could have been more professional and compassionate towards her.

The best part of being Dr. McCourt's patient is that I was able to have a non-invasive treatment that apparently he's the only one offering in Eugene. After a year of having a partial tear of plantar fascia it seems that shock wave therapy is helping my foot to heal, finally!

Both my daughter and I were patients of Dr. McCourt. His easygoing personality with kids made my daughter's procedure stress free. My surgery was 100% successful and had great support from the whole office staff throughout the time. I highly recommend Dr. McCourt for his professionalism, knowledge, expertise and friendliness.

Dr. McCourt operated on what had been a painful bunion, and a few years later, successfully treated my planter fasciitis. His manner makes you feel like you are his only patient. He never rushes, taking time to answer any and all questions. He comes across as kind and caring. And he may tell you a joke. He keeps up on the latest technologies and explains the various treatments and what to expect. X-rays are done right in his office. I have full confidence in Dr. McCourt for any podiatric needs.

I got an appt the next day. I had awful pain with my plantar fasciitis for the last year. He took ex-rays and fitted me for a boot to wear at night, and suggested I buy new inserts as the superfeet insoles I was wearing were for flat feet. Also gave me exercises to do and an anti-inflammatory. Within 2 days I was 50% better! He took time to listen to my concerns and was extremely helpful. I recommend him to everyone!

My two visits to Dr. McCourt were a huge disappointment and waste of time. I cannot recommend him or his foot clinic to anyone, not based upon what I sadly experienced. Let me tell you why. I have a bad callous on the bottom of a toe that causes pain when I walk, hike, or workout at the gym. After trying home remedies and OTC products from the store that did not help I searched for a podiatrist. I contacted Dr. McCourt’s clinic. I told the gal I needed a callous removed, did they do that, and wo

I had to wait 20 minutes after sitting in hoe exam room to be seen. His bedside manner was terrible and he was rushed through my entire appointment. When I voiced my concerns, he didn't seem very interested and kept suggesting expensive inserts only he could make for me or shock wave that was $400 or something and I had to oy cash for. I'm certainly not going back and wouldn't recommend him either.

The doctor did not address my concerns and was preoccupied with getting an x-ray before anything else, including insurance approval. My minor concerns should not have required an x-ray: toenail pain (either shoe irritation or fungal), possible plantar fasciitis, dropped arch and shoe recommendations. Podiatrists ought to be able to discuss major concerns prior to x-rays. My major concerns did not help me get a quick appointment (two month wait), nor did it land me a quicker reschedule
