Dr Michael McAdam did an amazing total knee replacement for my husband. Then came the manipulation that needed to be done due to restriction of movement related to scar tissue. This procedure was completed and the pain was unbearable for a week then continued to feel horrible for more than a month afterward. We begged for an xray or labwork to ensure there was no fracture or infection. Kept being told by his PA all is fine. Dr McAdams continued to say this is normal. Well after getting a second opinion all was not fine nor was it normal it was fractured!I endured a month and a half of being told that I need to wean off pain medication and all was normal. I am sad to report that this was a huge oversight and I am finally able to get on the road to recovery after another knee revision but the PTSD and anxiety over this has me warning others to make sure and advocate and get a second opinion if things do not feel right!

I have dealt with a shoulder injury for a long time, just thought it would heal on its own and I don’t like going to the doctor. Dr. McAdam is amazing. Smart, straight-forward, empathic, and kind.Stop living with pain - go see him.

I saw him to evaluate my knees, and originally had 2 appointments, one for each knee, and he was able to evaluate both the same day. That was really helpful, because I really need more time for my PT! He listened to my ideas, suggested others and gave me some good resources for non-biased research. 'If they are selling something, especially if it is really expensive, steer clear!' I look forward to working with him to keep mobile and strong.
