Dr. Michael Maher, MD

Skilled with pyschopharmacology and learned about medications which other doctors knew nothing about. Unfortunately, with a relapse of psychiatric condition, appearing blatantly psychotic at an appointment, he offered no help, and in fact refused to continue in the role of physician. (He said, "What do you want me to do?" referring to a litany of paranoid delusions.) He declined to schedule a future appointment (after 3 years) and never performed any followup or referral (or even just call 9-1-1, which was clearly warranted. The psychotic break continued, I lost most of my resources, all within the two weeks following this last appointment; at that time I was hospitalized. I can't help but wonder if this happened because--after years of cash payments--I was unable to pay the day of the final appointment (almost entirely due to the psychosis, of course).

Maher has damaged my health more permanently and all I can do is find a way to forgive him. I saw him for a few years, and he helped me very much with medications. I called him for an appointment after a traumatic event and he asked about it, but people were in the room and I said, "I needed to talk to you". Never gave me an appt. He left me without medications resulting in several stokes and 2 heart attacks. He should not be a coward and helped me get another Dr. Like him but can't forgive him.

Dr Maher helped me through a rough time I was going through from 2008-2010. Very helpful
