Excellent communication!!
I wanted to make sure this review helps other people choose Dr. Luna. I had the most amazing visit with Dr. Luna at UAMS where he now resides. His knowledge and ability to make me understand my issues were top notch! Welcome to Arkansas Doctor and I know you will go far and change many lives for the better at UAMS and Arkansas Children’s Hosptial!

Dr. Luna performed a cath to open the stent I have in my aorta only to cause a tear on the inner aortic wall based on his "judgment" call he opened it too much. This tear has not and likely never will heal. I have never been released to lift more than 35 lbs since the surgery. I have been athletic my entire life and enjoyed the freedom to do mostly anything I have ever wanted. My entire quality of life was taken away from me due to his "judgment." I was told, promised, and guaranteed it would heal only to find out it hasn't and won't. I no longer can workout like I used to and live daily with constant second thoughts of doing anything to strenuous that may cause that partial tear to fully rupture. Which if you know anything about fully ruptured aortas you understand there is no likelihood of survival. My youngest daughter weighs more than 35 lbs and I can't pick her up anymore. Be cautious of who's "judgement" you trust, you only get one body and it can all change in an instant.

This doctor should not be able to practice medicine. He cannot perform a non invasive heart procedure successfully. As a result of his incompetent lack of ability and premature discharge from the hospital, the result is another admission to a hospital, excessive bleeding in the chest and possible open heart surgery. Do yourself and your loved ones a favor and avoid this doctor.
