Dr. Mike Liston is amazing!
Dr. Mike Liston is an excellent and wonderful physician and is so uplifting and a positive force! Our family has used him for resolving countless orthopedic issues including a broken hip (after a fall on ice), knee and hip replacements on elderly family members, and many sports injuries for our kids and us (rotator cuff, knee and ankle basketball injuries, ACL, broken bones, etc.). He is the best doc we have ever been to. He cares about my and my family’s health and about each of us as a person. Dr. Mike is a great example of an excellent surgeon with a caring approach that makes me feel as if my surgical outcomes and health really matter to him. He is also a funny guy. As a result, I have referred to him and Palos and Northwestern all of my friends and family for years (and as recently as last week) who have orthopedic issues. Dr. Mike is the best!

The only one we recommend
In 1988 Dr. Liston was the main reason I have my son today. He examined my son and sent us to the right place to save my son. My wife and I will never forget Dr Liston or Dr. Regan. I would have total confidence in whatever they told me. Mike & Colleen Peery

Dr. Liston takes the time to explain everything to you. He is calm and friendly. I was thankful to be in the hands of such a skilled professional. He repaired my broken hip. Very little pain and tiny scar. He has been very cautious and conservative with my healing time. I can tell he really wants everything to heal and work correctly.

Very disappointed with Dr. Liston. Was a past patient of his and called for the same issue (on the opposite arm) to make an appointment. Instead of talking to me he referred me to another Dr. then his asst came on and said he doesn't think he can help me any longer. He didn't even see me to make the assessment. He just kept going through 1 person then the next instead of getting on the phone and talking to me himself. He obviously had me confused with another patient. Doesn't seem to care about past patients. I trusted him and that is why I called him again. If I could give 0 stars I would. How terrible to just pass off a patient like that. Again, very disappointed in Dr. Liston. If you want a doctor that cares, he isn't the one.

I spent 10 years coaching in Illinois Public Schools, and worked as a trainer ,and line coach at Varsity levels, Red Division/So., and 8 A . I have known 11 Sports Medicine specialists. This is a difficult issue when deciding athletes' futures. I believe the stance of staff here is to promote the healthiest, and most positive course of treatment. I personally have been to the glue factory! This clinic is not that! The aging sports participants; also receive excellent care.
