Don’t trust all online reviews
I was starting to dread my appointment because of all of these negative reviews, but my experience was the exact opposite of most of these. Dr. Lenihan spent 30 minutes with me helping to diagnose my trigeminal neuralgia, and was happy to answer any questions I had. It seems like people that have negative experiences are more likely to leave reviews. I decided to leave one to give someone more insight.

Stay far away !!
One of the worst health care “professionals” I’ve ever come in contact with. When you first walk into a consult and a doctor asks you “why are you here again?”, you know you’re in the wrong place. He made me feel like I was inconveniencing him the entire appointment, and started correcting me on the symptoms I was describing. Stay far away from this guy if you want even a remotely decent neurologist. Still completely shocked after my visit.

I will NEVER go to Dr Lenihan again !! A while back I had a migraine attack and took two of my Imitrex injections, two hours apart...with still no relief. I called Dr Lenihan and asked him if I could take yet another shot and he said yes. I ended up in the ER with an overdose of Imitrex. Save your health - and save your money !!

i went Tues Sept 17 th 2019 he did silly things that really do not give any real answers...i have a lot of face pain nerve damage and neck issues from a car accident ..a concussion that i knew i had before i went ...it is 6 weeks today from the accident i had some improvement over the first week but nothing after ...my sister said i should have an mri..so i called after to see why ..he said what i am i supposed to do??? and i said well it is almost six weeks of this...and he started to argue its not 6 weeks its only 5 ...now that is bizarre for a supposed learned man ....he suggested some kind of medication ..i said i would give it a try....they never called it in...again bizarre behavior ...i know a lot of things about personalities and mr. lenihan has an A type...Arrogant A-hole ..the bellitment mild as it was ...you don't have to sit around ..where would he get such an idea???? even as sick as i am i have a home and farm to run....if you want compassion and common sense RUN

Brought my sister who suffered stroke to see Dr. Lenihan but was treated like lower than an animal just bec . she happened not to have her insurance card with her , I begged if she can be seen & send her bill thru' mail but instead a "office manager " called us to a room & spoke so rude that she can not be seen unless she will pay first , never introduced her name ..blah, blah .. my point is what kind of people are who vowed to help sick people but instead wants to suck them first .
