DR LEFOR ASKED MANY QUESTIONS AND EXPLAINED WHAT MY ANSWERS MEANT IN DETAIL.

A recent arrival to Portland, I had my apnea study by a doctor in another state. I was frustrated by a process that took nearly 2 years by a physician who never once personally discussed with me anything about the study results or resolution. In my initial telehealth visit with Dr. Lefor, he explained the study results in detail, as well as the procedure for most effectively addressing my problem, the process of adapting to a CPAP, and the benefits I might expect. Dr. Lefore was informed and informative, personable, helpful, and encouraging. Not to mention prompt -- in less than 2 weeks I finally have a CPAP! I rate Dr. Lefor and my health care experience with his office as first class.

I've been struggling with insomnia my whole life and he refused to schedule any testing, gave me the tips you can get from a 5 second Google of 'how to help with insomnia' made me wait 3 months for a follow up and then implied I was drug seeking when I said his tips didn't work. Waste of time and money.

Dr. Lefor reviewed my test results with me and listened to my concerns. We came to a treatment plan which was agreeable and doable for me.

I was very optimistic to meet Dr. Lefor. I had hopes he would finally be able provide answers to an issue I have had for well over a decade now. Unfortunately, this was not the case. Dr. Lefors only interest was in labeling me, putting me in a box and shoving me out the door. It was apparent that he had not done his due diligence with looking at all my previous medical history; nor did he care to hear about it and seemed to have only glanced at my chart seconds before meeting with me. My appointment with Dr. Lefor left me discouraged and really upset. Providers should never assume or treat their patients the way he treated me. Thankfully, I was able to get in with another provider for a second opinion and turns out Dr. Lefor let his seemingly jaded and presumptuous demeanor outweigh his professionalism. I would not recommend this provider to anyone who is actually seeking help.

With the new online appointment scheduling software, scheduling worked like a charm.Check in was simple and succinct. My appointment began on time. The physician was polite,informative and courteous .

Dr. Lefour was professional and courteous. The initial consultation and follow up were both great. I look forward to fine tuning my solutions for my complex apnea and trying to get my Apnea AHAs lower!
